41% player base loss, are you one?

Does it count if you cancelled your sub but still have time? Not sure if that is included in the 41%. But that’s me. I have until March 24th. And yes unfortunately I will not be returning until at least 10.0. What I want and what SL is is just way too different at this point, no patch is going to bridge that gap.

That’s just me though, hope everyone else enjoys 9.1 etc etc.

I’m still subbed, but I’m pretty bored whenever I log in. I haven’t even finished the final zone. There’s just too much repetition and boring dialog.

I was such a fan of this game not too long ago. I don’t know why Blizzard had to suck all the life out of it.

Blizzard will never publish numbers that make them look bad… so I guess you will never hear it.

That has to do with the CEO.
That dude is known for saying that games aren’t for fun, but to exploit until every drop off money is squeezed out of them. Go look up his bio and what he’s said in the past.
The guy only cares about how he can get the most out of an ip before they ditch it.
Is all in plain print. As long as that guy is in charge, you can bet that wow will be lackluster at best.

I am on again, off again.

I am good as long as I stick to pre-WoD content. The minute I move further, I am disappointed by the mess and unsub.

Yet there are far more “optional” grinds in this expansion that feel far worse than the “required” grinds of Legion. Several of which had catch-ups in place for newcomers or alts, that were far more consistent. (We can just ignore BFA given that entire expansion was a dumpster fire.)

It’s not even that, in my case. Legitimately feel zero drive to pursue the content. I went from CE in 8.3 to just… not caring after a month or two of Shadowlands.

Even after grinds were no longer necessary in prior expansions I was still setting goals and getting things done, whether that was on alts or with optional content. There’s just no drive there anymore except doing that endgame content for the sake of having something to do in the game.

Could just be me, but I dunno. I’ve seen guilds of people who’ve stuck through the last-patch-droughts of the past several expansions who are already hitting a limit. Something’s different this time, and a worrying thought is that the difference might maintain a harsher cycle of populated vs unpopulated going forward.

You can’t post on forums if you’re account isn’t active, I tried that last month :joy: learned that lesson.

I’m prolly one of the 41% soon though since I take 2-3 weeks after my sub ends out until I start to miss my toons.

Quit shadowlands after 2nd week. Only sub for classic

Does it count if you aren’t playing SL but are still subscribed to WoW.

Oh no! A streamer said something! I BETTER STOP ENJOYING MYSELF IMMEDIATELY!!!

This is my solution.

  1. Play for about 10 hours a week
  2. get on a controlling game and play mortal kombat. I have them all
  3. Chase wife around house
  4. sense at home take pictures of house. You be surprised what you miss. The do said chores.
  5. Go OUTside!
That what i do. Too much in game after so many playing it makes it boring. Too little time might make it less painful.

I am not one.

Ive taken 2 months off from the game in 14 years. Im here until the servers go down for good.

There are alot of others like me too.

My guild and I are about to be – after we get AOTC.

Nowadays I login just to raid. Lost interest with everything else. Raiding is becoming less appealing due to crappy loot drops as well.

Rather play other games or go on with real life.

You know how easy it is to collect data about someone in today world? No? Google it. It’s not hard.

P.S. Google will track what you are searching for in their browser and record your IP address.

Google is able to track your activity when playing World of Warcraft?

Man, how are you MVP.

Your ISP might sell information on what services you are using. Tracking cookies might track what websites you visit and are signed into. There are so many other ways to check that. You can get statistical data from so many sources. Starting with tacking cookies, payment processing, ISP, ads…

So your assumption with this reputable company is that they are purchasing data from internet service providers?
Others have said they are getting their information from questionnaires.

That’s how statistics work. You collect data from many sources and compare it. Many times it’s not 100% accurate.

Tell me are you using add-ons app? Did you agree to terms of said app?

What about raider.io or wowhead or warcraft logs do you ever visit these sites?

Lack of tuning to my class, complete silence from developers about a glaringly obvious issue with Arcane. I hate what they did to Fire and will not be playing anymore until they give a damn about my spec.
