The kids talk up every xpax. Then literally 2months later make 50 post on how much it sucks. The truth is no matter what blizzard did those fools would complain. They think they know what they want but they dont. Want they really want is to be edgy doomsayers. Somehow it gives their life meaning

Game is trash now. Enjoy your garbage. The rest of us will be playing TBC.
I’m enjoying the game more than I did in Legion and BFA.
Add me to the pile of not understanding many people’s complaints. They just don’t match reality a lot of the time, or are about things that have been around for numerous xpacs.
PvE loot being gutted is my biggest offender, but they’re fixing a lot of that before the 1st major patch.
I’m definitely not a 41%er but I will say my sub is set to expire this month. Shadowlands has been so boring that I’ve resorted to capping my XP at 47 and running old content and quests since it scales now. Got to make your own fun when you enjoy everything about a game except it’s end game.
Tues day I run the meta hunter , Weds I will run this one and the rest of the week I might pop in and work on a 3rd hunter or some other alt of a different class but I can only handle being in the game so long at any given time during its current state.
I mean, I can’t speak for other people. I just know that I went from playing 2 or more [typically more, closer to 4] hours per day to 5-6 hours total in the past month.
There’s just something lacking, and I can’t identify what it is.
Still logging on once or twice a week. Took my DK into Torghast last night (3 am, is you crazy?) to rescue Baine, wondered that the “leaders” didn’t even seem to acknowledge him. I feel like a ghost in the game now. Fading away fast.
Pretty much mirrors my household except they left early BFA for similar reasons, older son has his own account, reactivated, played one month and canceled, wont come back. Something about borrowed powers.
I am one but so much the game as much as it is the players. I’m leaving Wow for the same reason Ive left social media. I genuinely dislike the way politics and performative activism has crept into every facet of online culture. Until the real nerds and geeks reclaim the internet, I’m going to be going offline more and more.
i wish that i could see that day coming, but the fact is that the trolls exist and they arent going to go anywhere, at least until anonymity ends and trolls start getting their asses kicked irl for starting 5H17 online.
