395/400 Item Level Emissaries: Yes please

None of the new emissary rewards will ever be able to replace some of the BiS pieces I’m wearing from BoD and M+.

So the exact same response as others with regards to raid loot item level?

That when the gear reward is too low relative to other activities it stops being worth it?

Hence why Raids/M+/Hard Content should only give Cosmetic rewards.

In a separate difficulty bracket.

Kind of my sentiment. Yay for my alts…but running 10s is going to be equivalent to doing 4 dailies?? Man they better up the ilvl rewards in M+

You repeat this same nonsense line over and over again. “Welcome to Hard Content or Die”. People have provided you multiple examples of how its simply not true and that virtually no one is advocating for it. Yet you keep repeating it.

Really happy I waited for heart of azeroth leveling to max before i bothered with gearing. Was just leveling alts and doing legion stuff. Had more fun with it than bfa, but I’m ready to get back to the grind.

It also destroys PVP progression.

Why spend weeks conquest capping when a world quest emissary will yield the same ilevel reward?

At this point they need a better plan moving forward as they are invalidating a lot of the PVE and PVP content.

Yeah PvP is shafted even harder.

It wouldnt be bad if these were the 8.2 new raid and season 3 adjustments but to drop it now only halfway through the tier is awful.

Them upping the WQ and emissary reward is like if they changed normal BoD to drop higher item level because reasons.

You keep saying that…but I what else do you expect?

Solo trivial content to give you the best gear?

You can get 400+ ilvl without doing the hardest content. I really don’t know why they should make it even easier.

And this is why I don’t raid. Too many whiners like this guy.

What many people fail to realize is that all this welfare gear is not actually hurting the “elite” players as much as the more casual ones, I know it sounds counter intuitive but hear me out…

For someone doing Mythic Progression (the “elite” player) getting 400 item level gear at this point is irrelevant, if anything the welfare gear helps him getting alts to catch-up to a level where he could actually use them on pretty much the same content as their main.

However what it does for someone who doesn’t have time or desire to do the most challenging content is to leave him with nothing to do, let’s see what type of content is supposedly designed for this player to enjoy:

  • Lower M+ keys? nope, free gear is better (even gives azerite pieces).
  • LFR / Normal Raiding?.. nope, again free loot is MUCH better.
  • Heroic Raiding?.. Is this even still within reach of such players? I think it’s already kind of pushing it and even then free gear is about the same so why bother?

Since world quests give the same ilvl as 1800 plus can we get pvp ilvl jumps too please? Basically just killed any reason to pvp unless u are late game. Even 2100 plus is barely worth over wqs lol…

What is the point of removing PVP gear vendors if there is no point to grinding 10 weeks of conquest aka 5000 conquest points to reach 400 item level gear?

Do hard content for just cosmetic rewards? No, thanks.

Agreed. Some of my characters got decent luck and have adequate gear for progression content.

Others are still running on the RNG treadmill waiting for a decent roll on some clutch item slots.

The additional scaling would have helped a while ago.

I think the point of the increased scaling is to allow players to gear for a trial spot in a guild/community that does heroic runs.

It makes sense and helps bridge a current gap in ilvl for players to start hitting the Heroic+ and M+ content.
