30 instances... good joke. reverted when?

But he said it really really really emphatically!

I did provide proof. Botting, boosting, fly hacking, pathing abuse and resets are still plentiful and infact theyre more profitable now too.

Again, kudos on supporting the change

More hard hitting, factual arguments. You truly are a master logician. lol

This topic has been argued into the ground.

This change definitely effects normal players more than bots.

Big brain play by blizzard though.

Why are we still complaining about this? Why did you make a new topic? Lol, you made one earlier. I think one is enough.

I wonder if theres a statistic out there on whether police arrest more law obiding citizens than they do criminals? Ill have to go look that up

Almost certainly, because there is a rather huge gulf between arrest numbers and formal charging documents. That’s why there are rules governing how long you can be held while police investigate, under what conditions, etc, etc, all setup by local, state, and federal legislatures and maintained by judicial members of the same.

I don’t think my gaming experience is going to be worsened because you can’t use your mage main to run boosts all day long.

you know what else is part of being a good game developer… knowing when to ignore people to make the game better because most people have little to no game development experience and are apt to cry for changes that make the game worse.

First the main reason given for this change was to stop exploitative gameplay not botting. Botting was the 2nd reason.

The small number of people that were affected by this change from actually hitting the cap, which we know because Blizzard has already said is a small number of people, where the ones who were doing the most damage to the games economy through powerleveling and mass raw gold generation.

This change was necessary because of exploits that were unknown when wow classic launched meaning they were never abused in vanilla and you had nowhere near this level of gold in circulation then.

Maybe take a second and think critically if allowing power players to farm dungeons for over 6 hours a day a ridiculous efficiency causing mass distribution to the economy is positively or negatively affecting the game.

It also does affect bots because it means a bot can only be power leveled so long in dungeons and then they either start leveling in the open world or take even longer to hit 60. Either way it takes them much longer to replace bots and those bots are more likely to be out in the open world where players can see them and report them meaning they can do the investigation while bots are being leveled causing them to get banned faster.

Is it a perfect solution? No. is it a change that helps the game as a whole, both now and especially over the long haul? Yes.

Funny thing is, unless your gameplay is benefitted by legit players gameplay being altered or blizzard changing actual gameplay mechanics of the game then you didnt benefit from this either. I do not have a mage that boosts but its good to know your reason for support of the change is cause youre jealous of those capable of doing it.

It changed when Blizzard North died. This was originally a title in the Blizzard North era, now it’s in the hands of these impostors that had nothing to do with it playing pretend like it’s theirs.

I enjoy reading the banter from owns and fasciae. Always interesting

A fix that only hurts legitimate players and has no impact on gold selling companies that can effortlessly release more and more bots to bypass the 30 per hour cap, is not a fix. At all.

Its not like I couldn’t level a mage and do it myself. It’s just that I have the power of knowledge to know there isn’t value to having more gold then I already have.

Unless you just like watching a number go up?

I have solid confidence if you were capable of playing at that level youd be doing it. But youre not, so here we are.

And this really shows how out of touch with the majority of the player base people who dislike the 30 instance cap are.

Sorry but no, most people do not want to endlessly farm dungeons for more than 6 hours a day by abusing resets. It’s not a question of ability or even having the time available, it’s simply not something most people want to do.

It certainly is a question of ability when people have an unnecessary negative viewpoint of people doing things that not only doesnt affect them but doesnt garner any interest of the activity themselves.

Except it’s been explained how dungeon spam does affect people who aren’t doing it.
