30 Instance Limit Screws Feral Druids

Not when you have my luck lol.

Refer to my Mara comments

Luck isn’t real. For every person. That took 200 runs for their Mara trinkets there’s someone that got them in 2

They are willing to make the time commitment when they are able, the problem is they are now being sevearly limited when able to farm.

I understand that. I’m sorry it’s that way. If you are an adult human with a job you can not be a god at video games…take solace in the fact that you have a weekly or biweekly pay check

Luck on a personal experience level is real, luck in the sence of everyone isn’t.

Some people can play the lottery once in their life and win while someone plays it every time it can happen and never win.

At the population level luck isn’t real, at the personal level it is.

It does and it sucks. However, feral druids are fodder because botters were a larger problem.

So on the personal level it sucks that there’s a druid out there that has never seen an mcp. And it sucks for the two druids on the forums who claim to need 25 mcp a week and also need to do all their farming in one day and have terrible gnomer luck. But none of that is a reason to change the game at a population level. Objectively mcp is still available in quantities beyond what anyone could use for raiding in a week. That’s the truth

9-10 for bwl, 10 for mc, 1 for ony

I’ve done probably a thousand MCP runs at this point, I keep about 70 or so just in my bank at all times, I have never gone 5/5 and rarely even get 4/5. I would say I average 2/5 and go 0/5 far more often than I statistically should.

Yeah. So 20 mcp a week. On average will take 60 runs. Maximum instances a week is now 210. Minus your raids (let’s call it 10 in case your raiding three toons all raids every week)

I’m still seeing a couple hundred instances to get your 20 MCP. What’s the problem?

Follow up, if your guild is half as good as you are, you should be killing a bunch of these bosses fast enough to not use 3 mcp charges per boss. And what are you doing on ranged fights like Shazz? If you’re popping your mcp and running in youll be dead from AE before you can pop it a second time anyways.

Yeah… 2 and 1 out of 5 are the most likely outcomes. 0/5 is about as likely as getting 3 or 4. If you’ve run 1000 gnomer your numbers will be close to the probabilities I posted up the thread, and you remember the 0/5 more because of human psychology

I am enjoying seeing all of the 1 minute old sock puppets being paraded out in threads like this. Really wish we could easily see who is an alt on this forum.

I’m playing the lottery the day I get 5/5 MCP’s

Spot on. Especially about the blatant sock puppet brigading.

On an unrelated note, does anyone know the spawn rates of the chests near the pummeler boss? And do other druids stop to open them? I do, but I’ve never really gotten a high value piece out of it, usually just low level pots and wool and cheese. And how frustrating is that locked chest when it’s there? So tantalizing but unobtainable

Your either dumb or a liar if you wasting MCP’s in Molten Core at this stage of the game.

Plus you wouldn’t have time to farm 1 MCP if you are Rank 13 trying to get to 14 unless your server is absurdly low on the alliance side. Or maybe you and your cronies are holding Netherwind per week honor hostage.

I don’t bother with the chest, but I usually kill 3 of the spidermechs.

Kill the solo spidermech that patrols in the entrance hallway, for the spidermechs after the workshop door if you wait to put the patrolling spidermech when it’s just in range of the other one it’s possible to pull just the 2. A few chances at Fused Wiring.

Do they have fused wiring in their loot tables?

This can be turned around.

It sucks that some people only farm enough gold to have 100g it sucks that some people farmed like crazy and caused issues, but there’s no reason to change it on a population level and make it so people can’t farm when they want to.

The instance limit is a stupid change, it doesn’t even do much more than create a slight speed bump on the road for bots. And there’s a big area on the side of it to just drive around to make the speed bump do nothing vs bots.

The change only hurts players who were farming for something, it doesn’t stop bots, doesn’t even slow down their oporations as they just have 4 accounts now per 1 they had before and they rotate on realms for up to 6 hours each…

As a fellow meme spec, i support the druids trying their best to compete.

This change was still in my opinion a band-aid fix, and would have been better suited to applying a 30 instance lockout to people without an authenticator (i still think this is the best idea if they are going to keep this in the game) But instead it hurts an already undervalued spec that is really just brought for Leader of the Pack
