30 days as advertised and refused its theft!

I bought a game card from a gas station of $30 cnd I wanted as advertised 30 days of gametime, I got the code redemmed but when I wnt to checkout I cant use my credits on it. I went to the tickets multiple times only advised after multiple AI mistranslations that I cant use it on this due to policy. THIS does not work as it is advertised in your store. As this is advertised and cannot use it on the item that is avaiulabe and want nothing else, and refuse refund THIS IS THEFT!!!

It is advertised as 60 days, for exactly 29.99$ excluding taxes depending on state/country that may be displayed on checkout.

If you’ve added the card to your bnet balance, Blizzard gave you exactly 30$ as you paid so it doesn’t seem anything was stolen from you.

Edit: Vrakthris coming in.

Your not making much sense here

Maybe try explaining what happened exactly! Also blizzard a long while back stopped using 30 day cards. Blizzard only sells 60 day card now, If you got this card from a gas station then your issue is with them, who you got the card from.

You scared him away when you post that. Oh, nevermind.

I don’t think Blizzard has any authority over a gas station selling you the product :dracthyr_shrug:

Also, 30 day gamecards? I haven’t seen those in a long time. Blizzard only does 60 days.

I’m sorry, Fruitcakez, but it sounds like the card provided exactly what it said it would, $30 CAD of Battle.net Balance. Which you appear to have on your Battle.net account.

It’s possible that it was fairly old packaging, a lot of out of the way shops that carry game time and balance often have very old stock.

I’m afraid we do not sell game time in 30 day blocks, the minimum as Forumcat mentioned, is 60 days. You can otherwise use that Balance to make other purchases, or add to the balance so you can purchase the 60 days of game time listed on our Shop.

well i can chose $18.99 for a time of 30 days yet oddly I cant use the $30cnd I bought it for NO i dont want 60 days!

then I request a full refund or the 30 days time this shows a gross incompetence within the company. IF its advertised and I have the means then it can be bought! THIS is refusal of services and therefore THEFT!

That option is via a subscription, which is 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Game time alone can only be purchased in 60 days.

then why is there an option of 30 then?! theft is theft!

They have not advertised game time in 30 day blocks in a few years now! You found a old out of date card

then why is there an option of 30 days for $18.99cnd and I got the credits therefore…

Are you refering to this?

The Game Time alone only offers 60 days.

Cause you went to a gas station that sells old as hell stock and are confusing it with the online subscription option?

yup as advertised 18.99 refual of service for services bought is theft!

I am sorry for the confusion, Fruitcakez, but it doesn’t sound like we’re the ones that made the mistake. You have on your account what you purchased and added with the code provided.

If you had found a Game Time Code, that likely could have provided game time, but this was a Balance Code. That isn’t refusal of service, it certainly isn’t theft, it is the simple fact that the amount of balance you currently have on the account isn’t enough to purchase game time since the 60 day game time code is the smallest available, and $30 CAD isn’t enough to cover that.

The only 30 day option for game time currently available on our site is a subscription. Those require a valid billable method of payment, such as a Debit or Credit Cards or a service such as Paypal.

That is via a subscription. You can not purchase the subscription at a gas station.

Here’s an excellent guide written by one of the MVPs that states what can and can’t be used as payment methods for game time and any restrictions:

I’m not familiar with how tokens work but if he has a balance in the Blizzard Store would he be able to use that to purchase a token for game time? Or are those only sold in-game? :dracthyr_shrug:

if its adverttised it can be bought refuseal to sell it?! Then thers nothing else I demand the 30 days or refund its not the amount its the principal. policy does not help when I cant use as advertised!

WoW tokens bought with real money can only be sold for gold. Though he could use the gold from the sold wow token to buy a wow token and then redeem it for 30 days time yea.
