There is a questline that bugs out for people in DF that has an object that some people can not interact with. There is no rhyme or reason as to why certain characters just CAN’T interact with the shrubbery, and if it is bugged, it locks you out of an entire questline that rewards 10 pets and access to a set of dailies. I don’t count that as an “at arms length” issue.
So, we got a response from a GM guys, and it isn’t a great one - yet again… GM Biashem says, “…I took a look here, and it seems like in this case,I was unable to find any confirmed known issues here. Game masters cannot provide gold or items to players, but if you feel like something is not working as intended, I would recommend that you to file a bug report…”
My response:
Okay, I have put in Bug reports via the in-game bug report feature, I have also posted on the forums in regard to the issue and have been validated by a HUGE amount of other players that have experienced the same thing. Those are the things that were being suggested.
A post or two from some of them has indicated that they believe that the matter is not being looked into, and also the statement in your message, QUOTE<< “I took a look here, and it seems like in this case,I was unable to find any confirmed known issues here.”>>ENDQUOTE (Game Master Biashem), would lead me to believe that NOTHING is being done about the 3million gold disappearing on my end nor anything being done for the other people that are being affected by this.
I need to know that there is something that is being done about this and that we are going to be compenstated for our loses. I want my 3 million gold back - and I’d like it immediately. I’ve been waiting for a month now. We are paying monthly subscriptions, and some of us, myself included, purchased tokens for that gold, and because the game deleted it, that is LITERALLY THEFT. That means that whether it is incidental, or not - I, and all the others, have been stolen from. If this isn’t investigated and properly fixed, it is open for litigation processes that will invariably side with the individuals that have been stolen from as there is rock hard proof of the occurrences.
All we want is for Blizzard to take care of the problem, get us our gold back, manually if need be (There is someone at blizzard that has the power to fix the problem, I guarantee it) so if need be, they can use their power to transfer the gold directly to me, and at this point for all of the hassle, I want extra compensation as well, I would like either an extra 2 million gold (a total of 5million gold) OR the equivalent in sold tokens that would equate for months of game time. I.E. the tokens value are at 200,000g, that is 10 tokens if you were to give me 2 million gold to make up for the hassle I have been put through, so that would be 10 months free game time. I am BEYOND frustrated with this at this point.
Please tell me something is being done, OR tell your bosses that I want my gold back and compensation, and that they need to send the gold to me either through the mail and put it directly onto my character. This is not okay, and it’s been a full month with practically no acknowledgement of the issue in a sense that something will be done about it.
Another Response: GM Lehiideelp;
"Greetings (Redacted)!
Welcome to the realm of Blizzard Entertainment support!
This is Game Master Lehiideelp, here to address your concerns.
I completely understand your frustration, and I want to start by sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. It’s clear that this issue has been causing you a lot of trouble, and I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to feel like you’re stuck in a loop without getting the resolution you need. Your dedication to this matter is evident, and I’m here to help clarify things as much as possible.
Firstly, I would like to shed some light on the fact that we, Game Masters, are here to assist with a wide range of issues, but when it comes to in-game bugs, our role is to collect as much information as possible and relay it to the development team, who are the ones responsible for investigating and fixing these issues. While I wish I could directly resolve this bug for you, it’s something that requires technical expertise and deeper access to the game’s code—something that our developers are continually working on with every patch and update. "
The GM went on to say that they understand that it’s disheartening not being heard and that I matter and that my being in the community matters and that they are working on fixing problems that are being reported. That all reports, tickets, and pieces of feedback are crucial to helping developers “prioritize” issues.
Seems like this should have been prioritized to the top of the fix it now list the day it happened no?
Yep! This is LITERALLY the same thing that happened to me just mine was on a much larger scale. It’s BS and should have been fixed by GM’s instantly upon reporting, and seeing that it happened.
God I wish! I remember the days, it was so wonderful!
It’s glaringly apparent that the Blizzard that we used to know and love is dead and gone - We now have the drug addict, self loathing, sell grandma’s kidney to feed the addiction version of Blizzard. The drug you ask? Money, money and laced with money, but evidentially not change tragically, because “We could all use some CHHAAAAANNNNNGEEEEE”
Seriously! It’s like they have moved to a point of indifference that they’d likely rather let the boat burn with everyone in it and move onto something else… It’s concerning to say the absolute least.
EXACTLY! I am beyond confused by the decision to not allow GM’s the NECESSARY power of granting gold, items, and achievements that are missing from the players. The GM’s can look into logs and see what problems have occurred, yet they are not allowed to do anything about it?! WTH?!
I really hope that you get your Badges back! You are so right, having a system of “Use the bug report feature” and “Oh btw, you won’t get any updates on the bug report nor responses to fix your personal problem” is a serious freaking issue!
FOR REAL!!! I actually put just this into the message that I sent to the GM! I’m hoping that this will spark the change that we need here! I’m hoping that they don’t try to retaliate for me informing them of something that they need to take seriously to avoid litigation processes…
ikr… It’s seriously getting old - since nothing is changing on their end and they don’t seem to care. We need to take action that will force them to care. Which is HORRIBLE, they should care because we pay a monthly sub, some of us buy tokens for gold, some of us spend HUGE AMOUNTS OF TIME chasing the gold bag!! Farming, Flipping Items on the AH, Crafting! Like C’mon BLIZZARD DO BETTER!
In summation, give GM’s the power to give gold, to give achievements, to give items. These are things that they need to be able to do in order to do their job properly and fix the issues that are being reported. If that isn’t something that blizzard is willing to do in the current state, then they need to hire people into those positions that they actually trust with that power so that they can do the job for people that actually have legitimate problems that need to be addressed!
I might start some digital petition on a few things. If I do - I will post it here, and we need to start passing it around as much as possible to get it out there and get these problems dealt with!!! Thank you guys!
We should all put in more bug reports in game.
Have done my part by submitting a bug but I don’t really have much hope with anything getting restored or resolved.
Me either, I put in multiple tickets and multiple bug reports. But, I refuse to give up. A million gold is not nothing,
I keep hearing about more people losing various currencies, this is crazy that we have zero response from Blizzard.
The only thing they can do is keep silent or blame it on addons, which is such BS its not even funny. A UI addon doesn’t make currency disappear.
Another one.
Bump. Any blue help?
Jesus christ, can you guarantee anything in this game is going to be safe? Things not disappearing from your inventory is the smallest and most basic expectation in any game.
I am certainly not a lawyer but considering that 3 million gold could be turned into roughly 200 dollars of credit this seems like something you could take more action towards OP
Bumping because I also just had over 300k vanish from warband bank. Deposited to bank on two different toons, swapped to my main and it was not there. Also making a post
Blizzard, any response, please.
I don’t use addons at all and my gb was deleted. @_@ All 7 tabs wiped.
Its been more than two months that the gbanks basically got erased for many players.
So far only a few players have gotten items back.
I don’t know if the warbanks losing gold and items is the same issue but if they treat it the same basically you will be ignored soon and won’t get any items/gold returned.
We are still waiting for the “returns” of items from the gbanks…
We even had a huge bug post about it but they closed it down.
It’s sad to see that there are new cases of this still to this day
Another day, another bump.
I had a GM cancel my ticket w/something saying “We’re canceling your ticket til it’s convenient for you.” - Not sure if it’s AI with just a bad understanding of English or just really really rude people responding. Or not responding, as the case was.
Yep, yesterday I tried to warbound transfer some of the anniversary bronze celebration tokens between characters and they just disappeared into thin air, despite a message that says they were transferred. And even worse, because they’ve chosen to timegate the tokens to a specific number each week, I can’t just go farm replacements for this week’s like you can with gold or timewarped badges. It’s really aggravating.
