I respect that that might not be your jam, but that’s what a lot of High Elf fans really wanted and it further removes Blood Elf distinction. Void Elves receiving blonde is a tremendous win for the Void Elf/High Elf fandoms.

Please, as if they weren´t completely aware they WILL get all the color palette imported from the Belf race.
I bet you they only mentioned 5 colors because thy only had 5 to show yesterday… I won´t feel surprised if by the actual launch of 9.1.5 they get all colors including DK Belf colors.
Hardly optimism dude, just plain facts… the devs are pretty much desperate to get you people to shut the trap ASAP and get out of their hair, no more and no less. You´re easy customers to please in the grand scheme of things (“low effort efficient copy pasted asets, remember?” Those beat actual new stuff to create).
Not only that. Some void elves canonically were former high elves who never took the fel, never were aligned with Kael’thas and were always Alliance loyal or neutral.

That’s what I call bad writing tbh because they avoided corruption for so long only to fall into such an obvious trap with such a weird guy and now writing suggests some more who weren’t tainted are studying it rather than being pissed off at such corruption among their people and trying to cast such evil out of their sight. But it is canon. I mean say what you will about fel and the blood elf choice and how the high elves who left spurned them for it, it doesn’t put maddening mind control whispers in your head all the time by some of the more powerful and evil entities in the universe, fel taints you, ruins your connections to the light and nature but it doesn’t try and turn you into a zombie pawn when you draw from and harness it.
But the whole void elf thing has been a joke and a disaster since the start. It was some cheap way to not really give Alliance high elves and I am increasingly convinced it was done purely to balance and provide contrast to LF draenei who were the main focus in 7.3. They sat down, thought among themselves what race could be tweaked to provide void to light contrast and someone piped up with high elven types all being magic addict heads anyways and what with some already corrupted by fel why not do the same with void. The high elf haters in the room loved it because it would be shafting the players who wanted high elves and they hoped forever lock out any chance of them getting those looks (they were wrong obviously as emergency levers have been pulled).
The excuse for years not to give Alliance high elves was that well too many of the race died and there aren’t enough canonically to populate a playable race, but then that was lazily cast aside to introduce a race that is a tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of a devastated race and must be even smaller canonically than high elves. It was absurd on its face at the time and I and many others objected but it was too late and had been decided.
Now the last fools are dying on the sword of faction/racial identity but that doesn’t work because high elves have always had certain hair colors canonically and Alliance has always had high elves canonically and because of things like Pandaren. With Pandaren Blizzard clearly stated you can have a race on both sides of the faction divide who are for all intents and purposes impossible to tell apart on the battlefield.

Maybe eventually. Maybe not. Considering it is fairly simple recoloring using existing colors it is suspicious that they only handed out 5. Maybe they’ll give more with time. Maybe they don’t plan to. We’ll push anyways for it as they’ve said they want feedback that’s specific. This is pretty specific.
In the past they’ve never had issues being truthful about the amount of a thing they have and showing a limited sample so if this were the case I would have expected them to say a higher number.
I’ve said elsewhere my sub is up in a few months, these additions are great for the HE fans but it’s not as if they’ll bring me back to the game. It’s simply amazing to see the fruition of all the organized work HE fans put in get rewarded, with more to come of course in the future!

They fact they handed you guys 5 sequential hair colors from the Belf palette actually says it all: they´re going in order. So yes: it will happen, probably sooner after the whole "nut MUH brown / black / white / blue / etc.)
This was pre-Cata Blizzard. We´re dealing with post BfA Blizzard, easily oil and water in comparison.

I’ve never wanted them to get natural hair colors, but have theorized in the past that they’re get black and white. I’m actually really surprised with the direction Blizzard took this.

Food for thought. Cause if you actually pay attention to the forums, apart from the 10 of us incessantly boosting the same threads of always, most posters are engaged in the gameplay threads. And this is but obviouis, after all if the gameplay sucks, no amount of Barbie options will make the game playable for anybody, period.
Right so basically looking for any way to keep insulting others due to them receiving customizations and impatient you haven’t received more yet.

You keep diverting, your original phrase of ‘your easy customers to please in the grand scheme’ makes no sense anymore because labeling customer implies we’re paying Blizzard for ‘low-hanging fruit’.
This is why I asked earlier what was the point of that comment if not to imply ‘easy to keep subbed’? No point in bringing up customer if not to imply about money to be made or people still paying to stay subbed which is why I said I’ll be neither soon.

If you know anything about my posts, you’ve seen I support edgy elves 100%. I’m surprised elves didn’t get black instead of blonde. I just find complaining about not getting specific colors immediately after being given 5 more can be in bad taste.

“Natural hair colors for 9.1.5!” introduces dark red… (dark red does not occur naturally at all, red hair is just another word for orange.)
