Aight a Black, a Brown and a pure White will finish and wrap up all the hair colours requests tbh. Otherwise at least they can add the Black.

Oh, well, that’s a shame. 2 of the colors are almost identical. The least they could have done is add black and white.

This so much like the heck blizzard stop being lazy and actually listen instead of partially listening.
I suppose the attitude in which some people are approaching the feedback seems spoiled to me, but I’ll just leave it at that. Don’t want to open a whole new can of conflict.

Yes they lie. Big surprise. They also reverse on lies, this whole 9.1.5 thing is a reversal from Blizzcon where they revealed they had lied about more character customization throughout Shadowlands and had no plans for it. I believe them when they said in February that they had no plans. Their plans changed because emergency levers were thrown.
However this is a little different than trying (badly) to hide a lore surprise from people. It’s something that would be a little odd to lie about. If they wanted to be vague and not give us the full picture they could have stated instead of 5 “a number of natural hair colors” then release the previews and people would be left to speculate whether the preview was all encompassing or whether there were more planned. Story-writers would have a reason to be upset that people guessed their obvious writing and try and fake them out (it wasn’t a good thing, the story wasn’t good, but I can see why they’d do it because they’re petty, arrogant, etc). I don’t see a reason to try and fake out the playerbase by lying about the number of hair colors when they went to the trouble of stating a specific number when nothing required them to.
Anyways the squeaky wheel gets the oil. If they don’t plan to add additional colors, complaining could make them reconsider. If they do, it will show them the amount of support for it and they can spin it as a positive when they give more than promised “in response to popular demand”.
I’m unaware of them lying specifically about things like this that have the little line-up of models regarding armor or looks, etc which they release for publicity. It’s a very specific thing that they sat down to do and they released a specific number when they could have just kept it to the initial announcement’s vagueness.

Aight we just need a black, brown and a white. While it might seem like we’re asking for much to some, it’s really not much especially if it’s just ported from another race. Void elves had so little in terms of hair colour that it makes sense for people to want a few more colours added right now.

It’s never a little more. They add more, and it’s always that phrase after.
Blizzard really messed up with this. They are the same model, same animations, etc as the Blood Elves. They should have been givin’ a different model with different animations.
As is right now, everything a Blood Elf has is always requested by the Void Elves.
At this point Blizzard should just undo the story of Void Elves not being allowed near the Sunwell or find a solution and make it a neutral race. We all know there will be one group or another that is picketing for any options a BE has or any future ones they might receive.
This whole thing is a giant mess.

I can’t get past the fact that most of them asked for blonde hair color then get three shades of blonde and still complain about it, it’s unreal.

Hey I’m very happy with my blonde, just passing on some people’s wants. Fen wanted black and white after all too. Don’t shoot the messenger.

For one you aren’t Fen and for two he didn’t want natural hair colors for Void Elves just black, white and other void based colors don’t try to overlap your wants with what his wants are because they weren’t and aren’t the same.
So he wants White & Black. That’s what I said above.

He didn’t want brown or blonde or red, so it’s not the same, so I’m going to point out it’s not the same it’s simple as that.
My blood elf has black hair. It looks amazing. Void elves need it too.

Blast from the past if I ever saw one, 
Thing is, everyone asks for more after what’s given. You still see Humans/Night Elves/Blood Elves/Draenei/Gnomes/Orcs/Trolls/Undead/Pandaren etc fans still asking for more, which is fine since Customizations are an ongoing process as Blizzard has repeatedly stated.
Sorry you don’t like how they’ve handled it, I don’t either but thems the ropes.
P.S. I’ve had one too many Whiteclaws

Red is a Blood Elf color and shouldn’t be available to the Alliance to begin with. Best solution would have been to release following colors:
- Black
- White
- Brunette
- Blonde 1
- Blonde 2
