Yes, they did, and they succeeded. That you don’t like what they did is valuable feedback, but that doesn’t mean they are required to act upon this complaint.

That’s not what I said or implied. Frost is just the bar none worst Death Knight spec currently. While being dual wield does play into that, dev desertion plays into it far more.
I hope you enjoy waiting every two minutes for the Breath of Sindragosa window to make your dps not suck I guess.

It not having dual wield might have had an impact when that was removed, but nothing compared to the impact its place in raiding and M+ over time has had, related directly to its gameplay and performance.
I said they made it distinct. Nothing to do with the playstyle of Breath.

I’m not nor did I ever say that a lack of two handers led to Frost’s current mass desertion. The spec is fundamentally broken. I brought that up because the person I was replying to was pretending that dual wield made it the perfect spec.
It did not. It suffers, and badly.
It’s distinct in relying heavily on spells instead of melee.

Oddly specific, and with a link to boot showing extensive history before, during, and after the removal 2h Frost to support… whatever it is you’re trying to say.
It had issues before, but dual wield did work better. Legion’s designs don’t mean DW failed, they mean Legion’s designs were faulty in many places.

I’m just talking about right now. Frost is underplayed.
Completely false.
Unholy also relies heavily on spells instead of melee. We have no physical DPS reliant death knight. Frost is not distinct from unholy, short of no pet and no two hander.
