Well we’ve had two expansions of being denied what we want. Expansions tend to be two years in length. That’s a hefty chunk of time to be wasting your time and money praying “well maybe next expansion.”

So 4 years of throwing a tantrum and not getting what you want. What was that quote? “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.” 4 years is a long time, I think that effort could be put to better use.

That’s why those who want Two Handed Frost should not preorder, either.

Do you think there is low representation due to the lack of 2h or it’s just a bad spec. The numbers weren’t low in Legion and it was DW only. In BFA however they lost a lot of things in the artifact that made it good or at least tolerable.
Why not both? Admittedly, absolutely the latter comes more into play in the matter – but either way, people won’t be swarming to play Frost without massive changes.

It’s not a different playstyle, it’s having 2 different playstyles in one spec. It clearly didn’t work.
Want to increase obliterate damage, I’m onboard, want 2h transmog over DW go for it, want to make a 2h option with another playstyle and focus and that’s where I draw the line. They had a hard time over 3 expansions and it just didn’t work out.
If they even went the wrath route where the playstyle was the same, change Killing Machine back where it can be used for either obliterate or frost strike and it didn’t matter which you used it on. Change killing machine back to how it proceed as well and not be reliant on auto attack crits but just regular auto attacks, create a new runeforges for 2h that combines razorice and fallen crusader and let it ride. Use what you want, you wouldn’t have to learn a new playstyle based on what weapon you happen to get.
I have said that exact way of bringing back 2h weeks ago, if not over a month in other threads or even at the start of BFA.

At the barest minimum, it’s acceptable. It’d still be preferable to have a two hander period.

Pre-ordered and happy to support DW Frost for PvE because 2H Frost with huge Obliterates is extremely unfun to play against and is terrible in PvE. And no , they will never bring back the option to choose. It’s the same reason Warriors lost SMF. They were too lazy to balance both at once.
No, it isn’t. Especially when compared against Breath of Sindy and Frost Whelps.

Never pre-order. Red dead redemption people are finding that out the hard way right now for pc.

Agreed. Pre ordering made sense back in the 90s when you had to buy games over the counter. Don’t have to worry about stock running out these days.

With RDR2 people can’t even play it. Name an issue before even getting into the game and it has it.
That’s a gotdamned shame because the game on PS4 is a gem and one of my favorites all around. It’s a shame that Rockstar is doing PC dirty.
Jaystwocents made a video on it. Took him 3 hours to get it running on one machine, another machine it ended up getting a blue screen and a third nothing worked.
Look back at every 2H Frost expansion. It’s good for 1 raid tier and then becomes the literal worst dps spec in the game. This is what made them revamp Frost in the first place. 3 expansions of people complaining about Frost’s low PvE performance. You can do a quick google and find a good 400 posts about Frost’s low dps and how it gets out scaled.

Also not true. They wanted each class spec to feel distinct in Legion.
You can do that for Frost now.
