2.8 Million Gold Per T3 Set! Absurd Pricing! Predatory!

They ought to bring back the OG instance atleast. Even if they keep the system the same (which I think needs changes… really) atleast make it the Vanilla version and not the lame WOTLK version.

If I have to run Naxx 600+ times, I would like it to be the Vanilla model!

It’s not though. Multiple people have mentioned multiple points of failure. If your only metric of this system being good being the fact that players don’t have to play the BMAH, I’d be curious to know the metric is that you base other things being good on.

The only part that needs changed is removing the profession aspect. other than that is it a good system.

I disagree. I think the drop late AND having the gold wall is terrible. 1 or the other would be a better approach.

It is cool, we don’t have to agree. I think they should have a decent cost to them.

3 mil gold is more than a decent cost. It’s hard for me to believe that most people have that amount just sitting in their pocket.

Oh yeah, and what is the average cost paid on the BMAH per piece? It doesn’t matter if players have to save up a bit to get them.

I think the ‘decent cost’ and ‘unreasonable expectations/costs’ are what most people here are trying to offer suggestions of change to.

I know they are offering to pay 1.5 million right? What is decent to one person is not to another. This will always be the case.

That varies entirely. But as I’ve told others, since I’ve gotten almost all of the sets minus 3, some pieces only bargain for 10k because nobody cares much about bracers, as an example. Some are more competitive, like plagueheart or dreadnaught. But most pieces do not go for 300k individually… at least not in my experience.

Only Blizzard has the info and maybe they used it to generate the prices.

Why are you basing this system on how BMAH worked? Essentially it’s running like BMAH 2.0, and that shouldn’t be the focus, it’s a bad system that needs to be improved, many here are providing suggestions that keep the system difficult without going to unnecessary lengths, no one is asking to give away T3, they’re asking for the system to not feel so over the top

Sure, but even then… having to deal with RNG akin to farming Teebus is pretty bad considering you need 8 pieces for a set not accounting for multiple sets if you care to get more. Having a hefty price slapped on with it is just a bit much.

There needs to be a better balance. Make it cost less and keep the really low drop rate, or make it more common and keep it costly. Making it both is just absurdity.

i have see the dradnaught shoulders hit 600k one

I’ve seen the plagueheart helmet go for 9 million. I’ve also seen it go for 45k. Depends on the demand. Someone who wasn’t motivated before who now is sees it and decides to spend an arm and a leg.

i am afraid for the dread helmet cost now lol
560k might be ok from the vendor if it hits 520k-530k

If this is true I think they have omitted many important factors for the price of T3, such as low population realms, that the vast majority of players do not have more than 200k-500k gold or the unreasonable time it takes to obtain a single lamented piece, again, this does not have to be BMAH 2.0, because if that was the point then this new method has no reason to exist, it is assumed that when creating a new method it was to give easier access to players, not to repeat the same old new and even worse just because he was at BMAH before.

this entire thread is stupid. people don’t even know what they’re mad at. they need to be told, and in this situation there’s zero reason to be. BMAH has existed since WOD and there’s been ample time to get the full tier 3 if you really wanted to. But hey, much easier to cry about how this new method is terrible (even though it’s not).
