equality for everyone should be the norm when it comes to pricing.
*on the other hand raising the price opens a gap in the market for another MMO to rise up and take the sweet spot. i could use some new MMO in my life.

Even if you can pay for a monthly sub with gold every other month you’d still be better off.
I just tried it 5 seconds ago with a Scotiabank Debit card it doesnt work only with credit cards. Are you linking it through Paypal ie with a backup accounts etc linked and using a Canadian based card not a US one? I doubt they allow direct input of a out of country bank debit card without Paypal. You could just open a dummy account put 0 dollars in it and they would have no recourse to get the money out of you. If thats the case problem solved for the op lol. Free subs for all I should move this off my credit card then.
Yeah Man, I think it was pretty self explanatory that what I typed was “Real” or at least in the regular unplugged world. I asked a question seeing as how the person I was quoting and asking was implying as if it was hard to obtain either a credit card or a bank account. So I asked.

I do buy game cards. I gave them to my family for xmas etc, and I actually use them to sub to WoW. This affects me, and I’m not happy about it.
it’s just sad that there’s no real competition to jump onto and say “f blizz”.

Im still trying to find out where the game costs 25 dollars my sub is like 17 a month.
both scotia and TD have specific card. Regular debit won’t work but ask scotia for a SCENE card with visa debit on it and it’ll work like a credit card without being one (money comes out of your account like and debit transaction) plus you get points for free movies if that’s interesting.
(I also don’t have a paypal account, no need)
They are referring to game cards. Apparently the price of those items have gone up. Needless to say, I guess if you can’t acquire a bank account or a credit card your stuck paying the new higher price.
I agree its a test. But, I’m thinking that its a test of trying to drive people from buying game time to buying a sub instead. If effective, they will be able to report a larger number of subs in their investment calls.

Right im like just use your bank card and buy a subscription, like others have said 20 a month for the countless hours of entertainment is worth it.
Thats the one I have and both mine and my wifes CIBC debit dont appear to work for WoW only the CC. Still doesnt help the op though if he needs to run and open a bank account and apply for specific cards. Hes no better off and still affected by the increase either way and so is anyone under 18.
