I agree but I am just going to get the pet and then probably move on. I don’t need the tier sets. They’re not even that pretty.

That’s a fallacy. Time gating is releasing content over an extended period. This is tricking rewards for an anniversary our at a less than snails pace.

there were 3 changes to bronze acquisition and one of them was actually a nerf. How many weeks is it going to be running and are we going to be getting a .7 patch between 10/22 and 1/7 when the event is over, seems like a .7 patch would come on dec 10 if we’re anticipating a 6 week cadence.

And they are just re-touched versions of tier sets that have been out for so long that the designs have been outmoded and ugly for years. The mount is a boring bird too. The Worldbreaker mounts were awesome.
No idea what quests we’ll have to do this time around but it wouldn’t surprise me if we just end up fighting Ragnaros version 90.

Remind everyone if you have alts with some timewrapped badges on them you can transfer them to which ever character you consider you main and you may have more then you think…I moved all mine few weeks back and my main now has 25,000+ to use to buy the items that you have to use them to buy…
Blizzard literally made a post stating it’s tuned for us to get the first Tier set in 2-3 weeks.
The first set costs 60. Which means it’s tuned for 25-30 a week.
Which means you won’t even unlock the daily bronze rewards for 4-5 weeks.

Playing the game = maybe I will go xmog farm today. Maybe I will go do dungeons today.
Chores = I have to get this done now to the detriment of what I really want to do or I will lose these cool things for a year if not forever.

This is pretty awful. That’s a serious drip feed if I’ve ever seen one - and it’s not how the PTR looks, and I mean before they did the speed up for testing.
I hate being at odds with this dev team. They make me want to hate a game I love.

Note that according to the post, the majority of activities are weekly, not daily. Which won’t really impact the pacing, but it does significantly reduce the amount of grinding if you only have to do stuff once a week instead of 7 times a week.
no. as of right now you get 9 of the tokens from two one-time-only quests, then you only get 3 a day from the daily. you get 6 from weekly quests. that’s it
