2,000 Echoes of Ny’alotha

Essences are still overpriced.

Many people I see advocating for better actually push end game content (raiding, pvp).

The people I see white knighting are pet battling and killing 5 heroic bosses.

Of course the latter think the system is fine because it barely changes anything about how they play the game if at all.

That’s like someone who doesn’t pet battle going on a rant to make pet leveling 50x harder.

Most people wanted to be able to grind out cores and do not want to be forced to do specific content. You cannot grind out visions. Echos are an infinite grind that you get for doing anything.

Yes, players that want to form reroll in a weekend, or raid log. I.E. MoP/ WoD.

This is what Blizzard sees $$$.

I want free stuff too

This is literally what players asked for. To be able to grind this out. Examples I have seen used are tabard rep grinds or badges.

Echoes will slowly build up as that character becomes able to buy essences, corruptions, and now malefic cores. Why does it bother you that inferior players are continuing to play the game and work for things that will still not catch them up to you?

Hint: it doesn’t actually count as “catch up” if they catch up to some theoretical about the time that the prepatch hits, and months after you unsubbed to go play some other game.

You know there are levels of reasonability? Not sure why people think because Blizzard puts something in the game it’s simply amazing.

But I guess that would involve a bit of thinking of your own and, well, God forbid.

It doesn’t bother me, what does bother me is that now that people can grind to get as many cores as they want with ZERO timegating are still complaining that it’s not enough.

I would say that yes, it’s bothering you a lot if you’re posting that people wanting to play the game like you do are entitled and basically don’t deserve to share pixels with paragons like you.

This game has never been fully amazing. From day 1, parts have been great, parts have been utterly awful.

I think its a great solution. Its not limited to 2 per week its up to cap.

Not true, you first got the epic cloak that was a much higher item level and then you got the proc.

The major steps are going from no corruption to level 15 cloak AND from there to capped resist because that’s what alts are facing.

If they are wanting to play the game then why are they still complaining that they have to play the game, via dungeons, pvp, raiding, emissaries, warfronts, visions, etc. to earn the currency to buy the cores to catch up?

You have to understand that there is a group of players that prefer WoD. Where they could literally get raid gear from afking in their garrison at their mission board.

Visions are by far the most efficient form of farming echoes in pve, unless you have a geared and knowledgeable group to blast m+ (hint: most alts won’t).

Bad players are the only ones intimidated by fotm rerollers.

That’s why I said most of General Discussion is a lost cause, because whatever blizzard does to make things easier for them is never enough.

Yes, every person above 2.2k MMR complaining about Warlocks are “bad” players…

“Just line the bolt”

GD always has been lost. They told us years ago that less than 10% of players visit the forums, let alone post. It’s why they largely abandoned them years ago.

Then go complain about pvp balance, which is the main issue there, not fotm rerolls.

I think it’s important to make requests and have voices heard, that’s how the change happened here in the first place.

But the folks who try to take a mile afterwards can sour things.
