Who has an hour to wait for 3 matches? Rated Blitz or Random BG / Epic BG is almost as bad. This is crazy when games like CoD and Fortnite allow you to hop into PVP almost instantly. When the queue time is over 5 minutes, they need to run bot teams for games up to 1400 or something.

this is pretty misleading. First off cata doesn’t have shuffle, if it did, the queues would be easily 1.5-2x longer because cata arena is very very niche even more than retail. the population is super low.
retail 2s and 3s have instant queues except at top of the ladder /shrug

Then everyone would get 5 minute queues for their first 2-3ish lobbies and are back in the same boat they were in?
Should honestly just scrap RSS/RBGs, give BGB completely unique seasonal rewards for casual rated players, and breathe life back into 2s/3s.

Cata doesnt have shuffle cause every game would consist of ferals, rogues and mages since theyre 100% easy 2200 classes. And the pvp pop is low but not insanely low like youre saying cata is the most popular version of classic right now
PVP meta in this unbalanced state is unacceptable, pvp devs doing such a terrible job should be fired, the fact they still have their job is unacceptable.

yes it is, 12 people got r1 and 30 people got Gladiator in 3s, the only bracket that even really gives actual rewards. u can calculate a pretty close estimate of how many people q’d in s10, and that number is quite sad.
wrath was. there will always be a large chunk of classic enjoyers who will not move onto cata as that is the end of ‘classic’ for them (changes to old world etc. etc.)
stop trying to get people to hold that cata L with you bro classic arena is cooked beyond belief and there’s a reason nobody plays it. 90%+ of the top 50 ladder on there are abunch of literal whos tryharding classic arena. there’s some argument to playing tbc/wotlk arena if you never got to experience it or w/e but cata and beyond is just worse retail
I can’t say with a straight face that cata arena is dead , because lfg is 24/7 on Bene lfg groups at any rating… seen em go up to 2.2/2.3 . More alive that retail lfg and any server I play on…

nothing. he both agrees that retail pvp is dead and trash and cata pvp is dead and trash so nothing appeases this bot. he watches youtube videos and reverberates whatever he was told via the video

Blitz queues have been averaging around 30 minutes this past week for me with one queue tonight getting to 48 minutes before I rage quit and logged out. Getting my last ten wins for strategist is going to take like 20 hours lol.

It’s really just a community issue; can’t make healers WANT to play the game.
I agree that there SHOULD be more healer incentives; namely gold, I’d be cool with a unique mount as well. However, that’s not going to significantly retain healers either as they’ll just get what they want and stop.

So you’d Q 35 games or w/e, get all the elite sets, then quit. We’d have faster Qs for, like, below starter mmr for a week and then We’d be right back where we started XD

Honestly with how good AI agents are, they can easily mimic 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2400 players. Time to invest in AI agents and make PVP instant queues.

I mean think about it, if we cant differentiate a blizzard bot from a player, and it improves queue times drastically and the quality of games are pretty much the same, does the integrity of ladder matter to you?
Flood the ladder with AI agents cosplaying players, and PVP wins big time.
