It’s way over a month already and the only the reasons i’ve bounced back to retail from time to time is to help out mates with keys. Which has happened twice in the last 6 weeks.
They did. If they retuned MC and Onyxia to meet the patch we are in it would be a better experience, instead we are playing on content that expects half the raid dps we currently have.
Molten Core was always easy, but 1.0 content on patch 1.12 is ridiculous.
I really like Classic WoW as it is now.

Uh, Dire Maul was released three months into a brand new MMO where the population was learning a new game, guilds were still being formed and Molten Core was being figured out. Despite what you think now Dire Maul was not any sort of catch up mechanism nor the sole reason that MC was cleared.
Well, I’d say it supposed to be a challenge in that it would require some time to get the gear to make it possible. The issue is that you can ding 60, and walk into MC in greens. Heck you don’t even need to be 60.

as you can see it took them months to kill rag even after most of mc was cleared dire maul filled out gear they needed and gave a huge boost to rogues and healers/druids
I wanted an authentic experience, not an artifically more challenging 'cuz people don’t play on potatos and know how video games work now.
but you didn’t get authentic original wow you got the heavily buffed 1.12 your blue dungeon gear may as well be epics compared to most the gear that was available before the gear buffs

That does not mean in any way that Dire Maul is the reason that MC was cleared. DM was supposed to be in the original release and it wasn’t finished. Try agin.

The game needed to be tuned to be harder. I knew it would be easy, but I was hoping they’d be smart enough to do some changes so it wouldn’t be this easy.
Also, DM wasn’t released early because they wanted to challenge players. It was released early because they wanted a smoother transition into no layers for phase 2. Had they held DM off to phase two, lots of people would have waited and come back in mass when it was released, now that will mitigate it slightly. Though it will still be a problem.
