When some of us initially request to make dungeon / raid harder many here had a fit.
Now that most have experience near end content do you wish content had a bit more challenge? Many of my friends are bored and can’t wait for BWL/AQ. Even DM coming out early is a sign that players ultimately likes challenges.

theres ways to dynamically adjust difficulty. my raid just split its core into 2 20 mans, at least for mc/ony.

Thats smart, 2 MC/Ony lockouts for same bwl & on group ftw

You picked the easy aoe level class. Beat everyone to 60, and then have the audacity to complain. I just don’t get it

What part of a 15 year old game that has been analyzed, dissected and discussed with hundred of detailed guides throughout the years telling you how to do everything from putting your talent points together to exactly where to stand and what button to press when for every single encounter did you ever expect to be “hard”?

The early raids could have been made more difficult, but by the time BWL and AQ40 hit the difficulty will increase.
No, I’m still happy with no changes, and I still oppose any changes.

It’s hard enough imho.
Mythic raiding is cancer to retail wow in the same way LFR is, just a different side of the spectrum. It’s too hardcore for what wow originally aimed for at the start. LFR is too easy that there is no possibility of “not getting it”.
in classic i wiped on onyxia 6 times one night and got no kill.
On another night we one shotted her just barely, Boy let me tell you that was satisfying.

TBH, it wouldn’t make any real difference to me if the challenge was increased or decreased. I plan to do all of the pre-raid dungeons, even if you can technically get away without as much gearing up.
They can make MC difficult, but even so…I’ve done it before…countless times. There’s good and bad to it. I am looking forward to my favorite raid fights that I haven’t experienced in years. There’s nothing new to look forward to though. You can turn an old raid into a challenge mode, but it’s still an old raid.
It’s hard to satisfy those looking for fresh challenges with old content, I think. Overlaps with the retail issue of too many difficulties/too much repeatable content. Or if it’s purely difficult, those looking to return for nostalgia may no longer be able to–I am one of those people.
IDK, maybe new classic players have a different perspective.
People think reading guides and doing exactly what they say is hard.

You’re aware there are 2 difficulties in between those 2 yeah?
Mythic too hard, LFR too easy, other difficulties not mentioned because you can’t think of a reason you hate them. People like you are proof that those who hate retail hate it “just because”. Literally nothing Blizzard could would satisfy you.

Nah, it’s fine, people just got better. A few spots in the pre-DM dungeons can get a bit sticky (Baron really sticks out, especially if you don’t have a mage or lock). DMN, and probably also DMW, are fairly challenging for your average Joe player. Raid-wise, I presume they’re pretty easy right now (Still have yet to set foot in any), but those will certainly jump up as we get into later raids that were tuned with current itemization/abilities in mind.

Ummm no lol. We’re playing on patch 1.12 with content gating, of course it’s gonna inherently be easier until we get the content associated with the patch we’re on. Blizzard couldn’t do actual patching, even if they could it was simply the logistical nightmare from hell which isn’t worth it when in a couple years we’re gonna be on the last “patch” the games intended to be played on anyway.
Secondly, no matter how much you tune the difficulty, most of us are vets and will still handle it quite well. There’s no getting around that. Third, I’m sorry to tell you, but doing MC and Ony for the first time in Classic…these mechanics are easy enough for highly mentally undeveloped person to understand where just increasing health and damage isn’t gonna cut it. They’d have to completely redesign the mechanics which would be contradictory to keeping classic, classic. If you want mods, lots of good single player games out there.
I don’t think Blizzard had much choice, if they intended to copy Vanilla.
The didn’t promise players a “tuned to what we think is best” Vanilla.
