2 charges on blink, boom. Shimmer is a disgusting ability.
I think some melee could do with mobility nerfs though. DH and WW are the worst offenders. Chains could use a nerf. Aside from that I feel like everything is decently tuned. Heroic Leap could do with a CD increase.
I’d like to see Deep come back but be more than a way for mages to set up their own cc. WoD Deep was disgusting, paired with frostjaw, mages could just infinitely keep someone out of the game.
2 charges, using it cancels your cast. There, I no longer care about it having 2 charges.

you also don’t have a cd on ur cc, there is a trade off. Yours is too easy to land with shimmer.

Shimmer with charges is honestly disgusting for this game. For the people complaining about mage lack of mobility, that’s what you trade for going FIRE/ARCANE. You do more damage, take more damage. Want control? Go frost. At least this is how it was when mages were somewhat balanced
Now you have mongos today with spammable sheep (even after dispel got a cd) insane damage, insane control, and they are STILL complaining
I legitimately believe post cata pvp completely fried these players’ brains. This game used to require strategy, not just spam the buttons on your screen that light up. 1.9k back then is 2.4k now. The entitlement is just disgusting. This change does not make me want to play next expac, still no pvp devs

i’d so much love to have a cd on poly if it was instant. imagine how much damage i could do instead of trying to juke out 2 kicks, prems, pet stuns, pet kicks, player stuns, grips, dark sim, grounding, druid shifts.

i remember qing into rsham/unholy tsg with the warr playing banner and the dk playing dark sim and after afking out because it was braindead we counted out how many stops they have.
To land 1 full sheep against that (without giving the dk sheep), there are 12 things you have to go through.
But its so easy, just cast the poly! spammable cc can’t be stopped huehue.
Above a certain rating you HAVE TO use setup to land polymorph. This isn’t bad or punishing, this is good game design. So what you do is setup to prevent the enemy setup from stopping your poly. That’s what differentiated good arena players in the past
yeah i’m aware. the thing is you don’t have infinite setups, you have to juke / bait all of this stuff 80% of the game my guy.
