holy crap you’re actually trolling
why are you simping for glads lmao cuz you’re not a glad so? i’m confused
See his posts:
Suddenly these “I should be like them glads” are useless because:
It’s hilarious.
Just like you need people to show up for mythic raiding, so does ranked matches
You can’t expect a dedicated ranked team to do ranked matches at 3 am if they all commit to a certain schedule
yeah he’s trolling, let’s move on and not give the troll anymore attention lol
Many people would rather have the best stuff for minimum effort. I don’t get it.
Kind of like the minimum effort you put towards reading this thread. LOL you
So let me tell you something:
Ask your gladiators to git gud when scaling is present. Or is that too hard to do for “people who earned their gear”?
Crying that they got killed in world pvp by a player with lower item lvl.
It doesn’t take much to know that 3/4 of the thread wants great for no work and 1/4 wants players to work for their gear.
Clark has no idea what he’s talking about.
If gladiator players are complaining that their gear isn’t giving them an advantage when it obviously means they are skilled enough, there’s a bigger problem than “muh gear”.
He’s making it like gladiators are noobs who depend on gear to win
That’s not even what the thread is about, that’s only what that one troll guy was talking about. Like I said. Minimum effort. These are the results.
That’s exactly what the OP is talking about. Lol this guy
Actually not at all, you just outted yourself as not having read the OP.
Anyway, you have a better day and good luck on your studies!
People who had better gear in BfA were handicapped towards lower geared but it was out of scale to where no geared player was doing more damage in BGs vs someone who’s fresh
Didn’t matter in wpvp but there was item level scaling
So git gud?
I don’t see any problems here. Are they such noobs that without gear they’re babies?
Did they not “earn it” according to your logic
This is an mmorpg. Skill is not the sole determining factor in outcome. Time investment, rng, and rpg mechanics like spec, class, comp have impact.
Gear mattered in vanilla, tbc and wrath. TBC pvp was changed to rating lock because players gave feedback that afking yolo bgs should not reward bis gear or welfare epics. That progression should matter.
It is wild to me that millions of players are asking go back to the design philosophies of tbc/ wrath but don’t understand what that actually means.
If people want gear, win games.
Choose one:
-
Muh RPG progression
-
Balanced and Real PvP
there are a lot of things that should be done in order to save the pvp soldier:
- remove ranks on gear would be the first step, it takes forever to farm a simple 197 set trough bgs, nearly 100k honor wich is a lot
- lower the ilvl gasp between honor and conquest gear, hear me on this, CONQUEST GEAR SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE A HIGHER ILVL THAN HONOR GEAR BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE OVER 30 ILVL, 13 ilvl and even 7 would still give an advantage to those who do rated pvp
- removing ratings goes with my first point, one of the problems atm is the boosters/boosted in rated pvp, wich is why i think blizzard is really hypocrit, they don’t anything to change that because they are doing a lot of money with wow tokens that people buy to boost themselves and get access to better gear, removing ratings would really kill that problem
- make cp cap tied with ratings, the best are your ratings, the bigger is your cp cap so you will get gear faster compared to the casual pvper who just do random bgs for fun, yes some of us do bgs for fun, put some work in giving more cosmetic rewards for those who achieve bigger ranks
- add catch up mechanisms for those who started late, currently, the cp cap is over 12 650, i won’t even bother to do the maths on how long it would take on one of my alts to simply fill the said bar
thats my 2 cents, a skilled player will always beat a bad one, wow pvp can be really fun but the mentality to give better gear to the best players so they can kill the bad ones faster is really bad for the longevity of it, its why it was removed by the end of wotlk and some genius decided it had to come back but they seem to really need to sell more wow tokens
I see that reading comprehension isn’t your strong point.
The OP wants to trivialize gear that players put effort into getting and bring them to an ilvl that takes no more effort than quests.
I won’t be responding to you anymore as it won’t go anywhere anyway.
Edit: my bad, I’m on my phone. That wasn’t a reply to you, Dalfurane. I’ll fix it in a min when I get to my desk.
Easy choice. I am playing and mmorpg.
For this to happen, spec, class, comp, racial, faction, rng procs, crit would need to be disabled.
