197 iLevel Cap Casual PVP

Dude my team last night got stomped on by a team with 3 boomkins and a fire mage. Back to back convokes plus combustion was absolutely brutal. So I feel your pain.

We’re fairly certain it was a carry group cause their HP was way over the top for a 1400-1500 match.

How do you know which person is actually more skilled? Maybe the lower geared player just has group anxiety or has been unfortunate not to be accepted into groups for rated content. The only way to know who has more skill would be for them to fight on equal footing.

Socializing is part of the skill game too.

Have you played Retail recently? LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic Dungeons 0-10 all go by without the groups saying a word. With the change to flex raiding sizes tons of guilds only have 10-15 players and don’t recruit or have a bench. They all just play till they clear the Heroic raid then quit for the season. For the newer or less geared there aren’t these large guilds where you could sit the bench waiting for an open slot that night. Say a group normally has 15 people and one doesn’t show up? The group just goes with 14 instead of bringing someone to get some experience. The game is the least social that it has ever been.

None of that is new. I found the guild I am in by looking at my server forums and finding a guild that fit my schedule and said I wanted to apply to their raid team.

It was very easy.

According to your achievements for PvP…you’ve only earned one isle of conquest this current season and that was back in March.

Also, you hit 1400 back in 2017 and nothing since. Seriously, so embarrassing yourself in a PvP thread.

Further, if you work 63 hours/week, how do you have time to argue with me on the forums?

Terribly implemented system.

Yes, this is dumb. A full honor set should be achievable in a few hours.

Different problem. I still think cd dmg should come down along with hybrid healing and that non-cd should be way higher.

I mean they were started with the intention of being amateur only. It’s almost like they were forced to let pros in only because some countries were cheating.

Oh also fun, Crosby shows up against the amateurs in pads and skates while they’re expected to play in runners.

Good point man, you totally got me

They did not. Tbc-wod they were separate. It’s almost like the PvP section was fine till they forced the cross over and it murdered PvP participation. PvE partipation didn’t magically recover to previous levels either. Funny how that works.

Again this isn’t my only toon. I’m

Look at the arena achievements

I’m literally over 1600 right now. Your detective skills are awful.

Considering I’m not arguing with you. You would need to actually have a valid point for it to be an argument.

I have downtime at my work. If I finish a job in 20 minutes I still have to stay for an hour n

TBC, Wrath and Cata were not seperate. But ok.

You keep saying this. Escape from Tarkov and the Division both favor experienced players in both equipment and skill/ talent tree unlocks.

Even LoL originally favored veteran players. Summoner spells, rune pages/ run lvl and champion pools were all locked.

Anyone who gets 2300 does not play casually, unless you go like 45-0 you are not getting 2300, go look at how many games that takes.

It is like saying a Division 1 soccer player only plays casually, LOL!

BTW, it doesn’t take 800 games to get to 1400. My god you are throwing crazy numbers out there.

Finally, you keep implying that I am bad, so hit me up on RealID tonight and show me how bad I am.

If my detective skills are so awful… Why did you block my access to your profile? Did I hit a nerve?

All things unlockable over time and that don’t require having to win against level 30 accounts (back when 30 was the max) because AI exists and even losing awards experience to unlock them

I guess you could say they’re similar in that you can both use money to buy the upgrade

Those things that favour veteran players in LoL are not massive discrepancies like the ones we have, and certainly do not require iron and bronze players to beat gold and diamond players with some challengers thrown in there to get their rune pages unlocked

I think a lot of people do like having some ilvl advantage for having progressed, but its nicer when everyone has access to it over time

You have downtime at work, damn I want your job. Where do you work that you have that much free time?

Attacking someone and bringing up their job and time is lame and you should stop

They’re the one who brought up that they work 63 hours a week and therefore why they are a better player and claiming to be casual. They brought that point into the argument. If they didn’t want that argument to have holes poked in it, they shouldn’t have brought it up.

Arent you the one that said they had no pvp experience when i can clearly see they do?
Also as if dueling a ret proves anything

I’m a casual lol

Again that’s false. There is no it takes x amount of games to get to 2300.

You get there based on winning.

Apples to oranges. That division 1 player may only have one game but they are at practice every day.

There are actually some people with like 1000 games played and stuck at 1200. They made a post a couple weeks ago.

I actually never specified you. But that must be your brain telling you that since you’re getting offended by it.

I haven’t blocked anything.

I work a trade job. We Bill by the hour. So like where I’m at now took me 15 minutes to finish the job. 5 minutes to write and invoice gives me 40 minutes of downtime.

Yeah, cause I looked at their profile, and their achievements. They have a zero rating on PvP. That’s literally front and center on their profile under the PvP tab. Then they said to look at their achieves and again… Nothing. They have no legitimate argument in the context of the game. So they brought up their job.
