Sometimes its better for bad players to just have a release valve of something they can blame other than themselves, so they can happily live in their delusional world where they’re super skilled, but some “unfair” externality always robs them of recognition. lol

This has got to be the worst reason I’ve seen on this whole thread. It’s almost like instead of just complaining about getting dunked on faster, they’ll go play other actual PvP games that don’t encourage that. Whaddya know… That’s exactly what happened.

Maybe it’s the people who got an early start on the season that would realise they aren’t as good as they thought they were and don’t want to get beat up. Hence they go hide in classic. The actual pros have been asking for this gear advantage to go away because they know it’s bad for the game.

it would be even better for pve people then caping random bgs to 197 cuz so they could get pvp gear for randoms and not just “stand” some hit but face those good pvp players

No, it wouldn’t. A bad PvP player is still gonna kill me (the worst pvper) if they’re wearing 197 and I’m in my current 215. Putting us both at 197 is worse for me.

A good PvP player is gonna demolish me regardless, so who cares if it’s one global or two.

If I was trying to insult I would point out that your highest parse in heroic is a 23 which clearly shows you have zero understanding of how the game works.

I fail how to see that’s relevant. An equally geared and talented Afflic Warlock should have no issue with winning a duel with a ret pally. Or are you afraid that they might actually be better at the game than you?

I actually have no idea what you’re talking about. I can talk to you in terms of game play if you would like…yesterday I was proud of myself for living to the end of Shriekwing for the first time. Was I the highest DPS? No, but I did the mechanics correctly for the first time and made personal gameplay progress! Oh wait, I’m sorry. I should be ashamed that I didn’t down the boss as fast as should be possible if I were “playing correctly.” Oh woe is me!!! My bad playing is impacting parts of the game that I don’t care about!!!

Stop grouping casual players with people who made the conscious decision not to participate in content.

Fire mage and ret paladin are the two most over tuned classes in the game right now in pvp and warlocks are considered one of the weaker specs especially affliction. If you had any understanding of the game you would know this.

He might beat me, he might not. I don’t really care either way. It won’t make him magically correct if he were to beat me.

Parses are taken when someone is logging the fight. You then are placed on a 0-100% ranking system that shows how effective you are compared to other people of your class.

To get a 23 you are messing up your rotation in a big way.
