197 iLevel Cap Casual PVP

This is the usual response. I love seeing people creep up the DPS meters on me or take over. I pay a lot closer attention and push myself harder to take it back.

It applies to adult life too. Sadly. Lol

I don’t understand how this is so controversial of a topic.

Surely there’s a middleground between “everyone’s the same” and “alts can be killed by a single earth shock”.

It’s not like people are farming honor aren’t putting in the time. Several BGs (depending on if you win or not) for one piece of gear (that still needs more BGs to be upgraded!) vs one M0. Something’s wrong with the new player experience.

Yes, you do have to do rated for PvP in BC. But I don’t think you played back then, because you didn’t need to actually win any games.

Seriously, that’s where the term “welfare epics” pretty much came from. People would just do their 10 arenas a week and get geared.

Until they put rating requirements on gear in TBC seasons 3 and 4 (and all of Wrath).

TBC classic has rating requirements on all the large armor slots and weapons.

I’m gonna stop reading right there since you made it clear you didn’t read anything above before posting.

Oh absolutely. Play against crap teams and play like crap. Still I can almost guarantee the pro is taking it somewhat easy. Pros in sports are animals. I’m the fastest guy on my team, can jump higher than any of them. This guy dusted me anytime I went against him.

No we are catering to competition  leagues have rules for a reason. They don’t let div 1 players play in div 2. Let alone forcing the div 2 players to wear running shoes while the div 1 players where cleats. Why are we catering to that?

Literally the only place this happens is wow.

Great points!

?? They don’t restrict anyone. A d1 player can absolutely choose to go to a d2 school.

Again, ?? High end schools absolutely have a near insurmountable advantage over lesser d1 schools, let alone d2. I have been in the room when Alabama called boosters asking for cash to buy players. I know we all pretend it doesn’t happen, but come on.

I read it and I don’t agree with it.

You’re disagreeing with something nobody said. Facebook would love you.

Buying a herb or something on the AH is not equal to buying rating for gear

Why shouldn’t they? They earned their rating and of course deserve higher gear and thus kill you faster in a BG.

agree, they could implement an mmr system for random bgs

Hey Clark… buddy, first of all, you play a paladin in Season 1. You sound like you don’t want to rely on your skills and you would rather rely heavily on your gear to do the work.

Don’t care if you earned it. I really don’t. It can be used elsewhere.

We get honor for kills buddy, not chicken feathers.

What’s PvP for? Main purpose is to test skill. How can you properly do that if the players aren’t on equal footing? You can’t, and we know that.

Main purpose of PvE content? Gear progression.

That’s why we have ratings, because people are being tested. Is it being done properly for PvP? No.

Boosting, son.

Has anyone mentioned FPS games. Does one guy start with a nuke and everyone else has knives?

One M0 that might not give you anything, might give you something you don’t want, and can only be done once per week.

Being able to choose your piece in PvP is a huge gearing advantage especially when it comes to weapons and trinkets.

Edit: plus unrated PVP is queueable! You don’t even have to waste time in LFG to get the gear!

I’m well aware Paladins are shining in PvP, I personally don’t like it because it’ll be nerfed one of these days

But I’ll always play my Paladin even if they become bottom line unplayable

Hope that helps your ease

You should read the rest

Yes you are correct

You try again, everyone has a head start but once you’re past the blunt part it’ll all be rewarding

Might as well. I’ve been playing COD, shot some super prestige dude in the face with a shotgun and he still runs up and stabs me to death.

Are you, or are you not, using in game currency to pay other players for services you are not doing yourself?
