I don’t think you do… There’s no special dunegeon gear to go farm. There’s no level squish or scaling to abuse. The best gear would be 197 PvP gear. The only thing you could max a bit more would be conduits.
One person having extra good conduits isn’t going to break the bracket compared to having a 226 AND extra good conduits against that 150

So you’re ok with people abusing the system by buying carries to get mythic quality conduits because they do make an advantage, gear or not

For the hundredth time dude. Some 197 ilvl guy with better conduits is a super minor advantage. Some guy with 226-233 gear AND super good conduits is busted. Nice try.

But conduits count as item level too as you can see in game
So by her logic, she’s ok with people maxing out conduit ranks to abuse the system, but not geared up people in unrated BGs
They’re not. Your iLvl isn’t affected. Your bag iLvl isn’t affected and overall the difference between a 171 conduit and 226 conduit is negligible at best.
It’s barely a 100 DPS difference.

Its simple:
197-200 Item level: open for those levels.
201 -207 Item level: scaled to 201
208-213 Item level: scaled to 208
214 - 220 Item level: scaled to 214
221 and above open for all
No one cares about conduits. They dont matter in PVP
If you have gear lower or higher than that bracket level, you cant enter.

People in this game do more grueling things for gear than running from the graveyard back to the battle over and over. The reason pvp has any fodder at all is because of the lucrative gear progression. Take gear progression out of pvp completely and see how popular it is.
Weird seeing people that don’t PvP or have the coconuts to turn on warmode trying to tell people about PvP.

/Sigh dude. Nobody cares. The point is to make the gap small. 150-197 is still comically big but what’s even comically worse than that is 226 with those special conduits you’re talking about vs the 150.

It’s designed exactly the way I described. A stepping stone if you so choose.
Unrated pvpers do not get any such treatment. They are told to do other content to gear for their content, and that is bad design.
