197 iLevel Cap Casual PVP

More talking about the fact that my realid is filled with “last seen 1 - 2 months ago”.
I check steam, low and behold, everyone is there. Just playing other games.

The luls… The twinks (197 and up) can go play vs each other and the sub 197 can play together. Bis of 197 isn’t that big a deal compared to the fresh 160s. Kinda funny that that bracket would still have a big gear disparity though. Now a 226 vs a 150 sounds real fun

Incorrect. Everything below max level tier is designed as a stepping stone to that final tier.

That’s why you’re able to go back and enter whatever you want instead of being locked out

Capping out players will only result in a dead bracket or twink central

The burst meta would be worse than ever. It would be people like me, steamrolling everyone else even easier.

So if someone has a higher conduit level they are then forced out of the lower bracket because they got it by mistake/luck

Leading the lower brackets in dead waters

Leave conduits alone. you have them you use them. This is all about gear level.

Are conduits not the same item level as gear

You can be carried to a mythic Denathrius kill and get his conduit easily but won’t get gear If you’re not lucky

But now the guy has a high item level conduit, he’s kicked out of the lower tier brackets like you said

Except everyone isn’t quitting.

Agreed.

Or like the poster who blames all the other players for turning him down for groups and Blizzard for everything else. At a certain point, it should become pretty obvious that it’s not everyone else that’s wrong.

It wouldn’t matter if they did.

You don’t know how twinks work, do you? Twinks would find every little bitty thing they can and turn themselves into monsters.

No no no no you applied your rules on gear and it must be on conduits too as they both have item levels

Incorrect. It is designed as a stepping stone if you so choose. If you don’t want to face Mythic or even Heroic opponents, you don’t have to. Your opponents don’t get stronger over time and push you out of your desired content if you don’t continually push harder content.

Unrated pvpers don’t get that luxury.

Again, it wouldn’t matter. Everyone would have them.

Both teams with be a mix of all ilevels. Pretty even and nobody complains when they’re teamed up with the geared folks and crushing bgs.

Yep, been like that since the beginning. If a player wants equal-playing-field pvp, other games are much better for that. Games like GW2 and Overwatch come to mind.

So if I was in 207 bracket and decided to buy a carry to get a 233 Denathrius conduit, equip it, I should then be forced out of that lower bracket because now the system knows “hey this guy has a higher item level piece”

You can’t back out on this now

226 IL people go into randoms for no other reason than to own ungeared players. Reminds me of high school kids going to an elementary school to look for easy fist fights.

197 pvp gear should scale to at least 216 while in a random battleground. 10 IL difference is plenty of an advantage for the elitists. 29 IL difference is broken and shouldn’t have ever been implemented.

Just because you choose to not use the content the way it’s designed for does not make it incorrect.

Not sure who this is directed at, but sure. I don’t know what the groupfinder is like these days, busy playing path of exile with the aforementioned WoW quitters.
