197 iLevel Cap Casual PVP

Weird assuming people only have one toon. Should probably check achievements.

What reality is that? That unrated pvp gearing is garbage for unrated pvpers? I suppose to the extent I simply don’t pvp anymore, you’re right.

But then, you aren’t offering up any solutions to the problems I and others have outlined that unrated pvpers face, nor do you seem inclined to do so. So yeah. Trolling.

Weird how I never pointed to a specific person.

The hell are you talking about? Random BGs give honor to buy honor gear for pvp.

Just because you’re not having fun in your chosen content doesn’t mean you’re being told to go acquire gear by other means

There is no right to that. There isn’t any tier of difficulty for pvp.

You slog through it like everyone else did.

You should probably learn what a right is.

The fact this is your takeway from what I have said in the context of this thread tells me you aren’t paying attention or you are looking for chances to score zingers.

Unrated pvp awards 200 ilvl. Not even remotely sufficient.

It’s garbage for bad players. Everyone goes through it. I have good BGs and bad BGs on my Alts just like everyone else.

If you quit that’s your choice.

The reality is blizzard isn’t and shouldn’t going to cater to people that hardly play the game.

Im not offering solutions because it’s not an actual problem. Bad players have been asking for free gear since the games inception. That won’t ever change.

You need to realize that if you choose to only do unrated content you’re only going to get gear that unrated content awards. You’re not going to limit people that do harder content because you choose not too.

One of my defensive conduits makes my divine shield CD reduce by 5 seconds depending on the CD

At the bare minimum it’s once per 48 seconds

A 226 rank makes it I think once every 30 seconds.

Now idk about you but if you think it’s ok to give an advantage by having higher conduit ranks by trying to min max the bracket then that’s a double standard vs hating someone with better gear

Weird… Because Rev created multiple threads about this very topic. He’s terrible though :roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

I’ve gotten duelist. Battle up above has 226 gear. None of us want this. We don’t like gear advantages.

PVP gear used to have Resilience and the PVE gear didn’t. This gave anyone who stacked Resi on their PVP gear damage mitigation that people who primarily raided didn’t have. I think they took it away because PVE people complained. I liked the idea though, two lines of gear depending on where you choose to put your time in.

Yes - there is no way that a new PvP player is gonna be convinced to hang around in unrated BGs when they get deleted by someone with god-tier gear.

Personally, I enjoyed playing a handful of BGs every week throughout BFA. Now I have stopped. It’s not worth it when there’s no way for the casual PvPer to compete.

To reiterate for readers: unrated pvp is the only form of content that does not give you sufficient gear for that content, by design. You will stand no chance against many of the players you will encounter, as they are in vastly superior gear. If you do not gear through other outlets, you will be at a perpetual and massive disadvantage, unlike literally every form of content.

That is bad design. Unrated pvp should be designed primarily around unrated pvpers, including the acquisition of sufficient gear for that content.

Because guess what. That 226 player has that advantage + a GIANT gear advantage. Way to be purposely obtuse man. It’s a very simple concept. Having super imbalanced games in randoms isn’t fun. One minor conduit advantage isn’t the same as having a massive one AND one minor conduit advantage :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

Never claimed you did. I was just giving you some free advice.

Poor bit of advice considering it made you look like a fool lol.

It’s completely sufficient for the content you’re doing. How do I know this? Because content rewards gear appropriate to its level of content.

If you’re so against rated players in random BGs; I challenge you to leave any BG where you have someone over 200 ilvl on your team. Oh, what’s that? You wouldn’t be able to play another BG because there’s 220 players running around on both sides of the field? You mean you’re not being singled out? You just need to work better as a team?

Odd. I know.

That’s your personal opinion. Doesn’t mean it’s the same for everyone.

My ringing clarity makes divine toll hit you two more times in single target for PvP scenarios

That means a divine toll judgment is the same damage of a regular judgment in crit damage, or if it crits, 4 times the amount judgment does in damage

40% chance at the bare minimum rank of item level 145

I think 60% chance at 210 item level rank I think

But you’re ok with me having a better chances for my divine toll to hurt you more than it’s intended in that bracket, but not well geared players

I would do randoms everyday, sometimes for hours, in BFA and like you I have stopped now because it’s not the same. It used to be fun…
