Nah, just sign up for them on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You’ll get accepted into a steamroll group.
It’s hard to say and depends on which season.
ICC had 3 levels of raid tier and they were 13 item levels apart (251/264/277) which is identical to Castle Nathria also being 13 item levels apart (200/213/226).
I don’t recall the PvP item levels off hand.
Here is a decent old reference site.
Now, it’s been ages since I played Wrath but I “think” it went where the previous seasons conquest gear became the latest seasons honor gear right?
When ICC came out that was season 7, ruthless gladiator, which would make season 6, furious gladiator gear the honor gear.
It looks like furious (honor) armor was 232 item level and relentless (conquest) armor was 251, so a 19 item level gap.
T2 ruthless weapons were 258, which is a 26 item level gap.
I’ll do serious content with guild lfr for when I don’t want to think and get free anima. Also ive been carrying my guild member through m+ to skip lfr gear funneling him
Versatility is a great tank stat and I have 22% of it if I wanted to I could go in pvp and smash people.
wow the troll keeps getting attention
There is a simple solution…
For randoms
197 - 207 = Play together
208-219 = Play together
220 and higher play together.
That’s not what random battlegrounds works
You will also force twinking at level 60 since people will find ways to be overpowered in a low end item level bracket
Your solution solves one thing but creates more problems
I think the game would be more casual friendly if a ilvl 226 player cannot delete casuals in UnRated Battlegrounds
Probably one of the best things in this game is the fact that after you put in hundreds of hours to get your char super geared, you’re able to hop into random bg’s and absolutely demolish people.
Blizzard took this away in Legion and the overwhelming majority loathed it.
Blizzard tried a dmg scaling system in bfa and the overwhelming majority loathed it.
The only way to help this is for blizzard to bring back pvp stats I.e pvp resilience and pvp power.
So you agree that we should put limitations on casuals once the game deems them no longer to be allowed in LFR castle natharia
Yeah they should then proceed to dabble in normal and up. Which is why raiders complain about lfr all the time lol… I honestly doubt many people do lfr if they’re overgeared for it. Tons of overgeared people play BG’s though. Totally fair
You will also force twinking at level 60 since people will find ways to be overpowered in a low end item level bracket
There would be no twinking people would rock 197. I bet it would be popular too. Skill>gear bracket.

The answer to a million dollar question that people don’t get

Think that’s already implemented, the pvp trinket set bonus increase your versatility
But they said they don’t want well geared people in their unrated PvP games
I’m not going to read back through every response in the thread, but no, I myself have not said anything like this. And your “not allowed to queue for LFR” counter was ridiculous.
It is very, very simple. Unrated pvp should be designed for unrated pvpers. This means that unrated pvp should provide the gear that unrated pvpers need for unrated pvp.
For this to be the case, one of two things has to happen. Either unrated pvp needs to reward gear equal to what you will face in unrated pvp (how pvp gearing was in MoP and WoD, and also how pve gearing works to an extent), or the ilvl for unrated pvp caps at what can be earned through unrated pvp.
Notice that nowhere did I say that “people with gear should not be allowed in bgs”. I want unrated pvp to be fun for unrated pvpers, not just for rated pvpers. No other form of content has such a huge disparity between the power you can earn and the power you will face.
k but how come you rarely see glad streamers etc playing random bgs? they’re always doing rated content.
if you need to stomp fresh characters to have fun you’re just bad
No. If you want to higher gear go play the organized PVP.
Do arenas or RBGs.
This is one of the root problems. WoW’s constant “do content you don’t want to do in order to get gear to do the content you DO want to do” instead of making gearing and playing in different types of content make sense inside that specific part of the game.
Some people just casually PvP because it’s fun. They’re not interested in trying to slam their head into a brick wall trying to gear a fresh toon in arena vs a wall of paid carries, or just buying a carry themselves. Or doing yolo RBGs and losing a little piece of your soul every night because you’re not getting into a legit group with a 170ilvl.
It feels like the equivalent of when entry level job listings require 2+ years experience. lol
they’re always doing rated content.
Because they are playing with their team at a dedicated time? Just like how raid time is?
Are you saying they aren’t allowed to do random Bgs off stream?
That’s not what random battlegrounds works

Umm what? Of course tha6ts not how it is, its how it SHOULD be. Its a simple fix. As far as twinking, that has always been an issue no matter what level.
im sure they can still do rbgs without their gear if they’re glads lmfao, if they didn’t buy a carry, they can surely still kill noobs without gear. your argument is the worst i’ve seen. but the streamers i’ve seen (i haven’t seen that many) have said they don’t, they do rbgs only.
Alright
So you’re not ok with a high geared player in your random BG but you’re ok with someone abusing the low item level bracket in any means way via twinking

If you are worried about a player at 207 staying there to dominate randoms, its not going to work like that. Gear at that level isn’t as game critical as it is at lower levels. I play randoms all the time at 226 and see 200s doing fine.

I didn’t know 100% of the 3v3 ladder players were all streamers with a healthy view counts
Reading comprehension… smh…
