197 iLevel Cap Casual PVP

No. Let’s not kill the game off even more.

I’m amazed they think it’s perfectly fine that people should have to be among the top percent of pvp player to be able to fully enjoy unrated bgs. You don’t have to have Mythic gear to beat LFR, and you shouldn’t need rated gear to avoid instant deletion in unrated pvp.

Unrated pvp should be designed for unrated pvpers. Simple as that. So either unrated pvp needs to award the top pvp gear at a slower rate, like it used to when pvp was far more popular, or ilvl needs to be capped at what you can earn in unrated pvp. Anything else is garbage design.

Sounds like Wrath to me which only awarded conquest for rated PvP and all armor slots and weapons (trinkets and accessors not) had rating requirements.

And that was peak popularity.

215 is way to high.

Also I don’t get why this forum keeps saying casual like casual players are bad.

You’re thinking of leisure players.

Ok

So how about this

The moment a player reaches one item level higher than what LFR offers they are no longer able do queue in LFR

Watch how quick asking blizzard to reverse that decision

So you don’t want random battlegrounds to be random.

Lol with that logic why would anyone want to gear past 197 if it’s pointless for pvp that forces them to 197. That’s counter to a mmos purpose

Now I think of it I’d like to see it happen

Makes sense to me honestly. Raiders would be happy about it.

Still though, it’s comical that you keep comparing PvP to PvE. You know ones a competitive game mode and ones a cooperative one right? You getting more gear helps me down the boss and get more gear in PvE. In PvP you having more gear makes it harder for me to get more gear.

The two modes couldn’t be more different

You clearly don’t get PvP. I’d encourage you to read blizzards own words on it.

It’s an idea that surely deserves more attention. It would also help to get people into group content and real raiding. It’s a win-win.

So you agree that we should put limitations on casuals once the game deems them no longer to be allowed in LFR castle natharia

So whatever gear they like to try to get like a weapon is the sword pet from Denathrius all because one piece of gear they upgraded finally locked them out for good, sucks to be them!

Say it with me. “PvP is not PvE and trying to treat them the exact same way as if the comparison is at all accurate is ridiculous.”

Repeat to self as needed.

Lol if this was a thing why the hell would I que for it on my main? It makes any gains from group content pointless. That’s not right

Why are you doing LFR on your main?

…I think we might have a mix up of words here?

Anima for vault and the fact that I can do it with my eyes closed in lfr

But they said they don’t want well geared people in their unrated PvP games

So then mythic geared players should not be allowed in LFR by that logic

Have the game force you to be no longer able to enjoy the things you like the moment you over extend the maximum item level requirement

but back there weren’t mythic, nor mythic + so ilvl disparities wasn’t this big

You can do normal with your eyes closed and get it done faster.

That requires me putting a group together manually. No, also you don’t want free lfr carry ?
