18 floors is too many

How is this instanced, soloable content different from a single player game?

This is literally your only argument, and it isn’t even viable.

Raids and dungeons literally save your progress. Boss encounters aren’t 1-2 hours long. M+ is timed content, the whole point is to beat the clock, being able to stop the clock would defeat the whole purpose of that mode; having savepoints in Torghast has no negative impact.

It’s in WoW, an MMORPG.

Because no other argument matters.

Really now, a M+ key gets saved does it ?

Doesn’t matter. TC is. It’s part of the challenge of TC.

With no saving.

You are so incredibly dense that we ought to study you. I’m convinced there’s a micro black hole where your brain ought to be, which if true would be quite the scientific discovery.

From my point of view, it seems you are the one who can’t accept different opinions. You want Blizzard to make it easier by adding check-points or save states. That makes it easier than forcing the player to do it all in one go. Regardless, Blizzard is not going to do this. It would be unfair to those who already completed the challenge.

Also, like other players have posted, you can sit afk at the beginning of each floor or on the floor of the vendor. The content is also optional

So you just admitted that it wouldn’t matter if Blizzard nerfed the experience or made it faster to get through, it wouldn’t make the experience fun for you anyways. Why not just at this point ask for them to remove it entirely? You’re confusing.

Can say the same of people literally asking for nerfs to completely optional content that rewards 4 cosmetics.

It’s meant to be challenging. Y’all asking for it to be made easier. But I’m the one that’s dense ?

Wake up.

I don’t think you know what being dense means. I also don’t think you know what a challenge is. Hint: it’s not having 1-2 uninterrupted hours to complete solo content. There is nothing challenging about being force-glued to your chair and penalized for having to leave, no matter the reason.

Yes, you think I don’t understand your position.

I do. It’s entirely selfish.

If it weren’t a challenge to sit still for an hour and a half, people wouldn’t be asking for saving their progress would they.

I don’t think you understand what a challenge is yourself.

Why yes, that’s part of the challenge.

If it’s not challenging, just do it then. Show us how good you are.

Why are you attacking other players for their opinion? Can we not have a discussion without name calling? You’re breaking forum rules by attacking other players and calling them names. Please act civil.

I have little interest in the Maw (only do what & when I have to) so I’m not eager to get the mount at all. Unfortunately, I can see blizzard dropping the final content raid in the Maw at the furthest point away from where we land. So, (a) glad I do LFR, and (b) If I did not, hopefully I could count on those with mounts to agro a path for me to safely run there.

No, we cannot. Because unfortunately players like the one I’m responding to, who mindless defend these stupid mechanics and voice zero-argument opinions, are the reason why we keep having so much tedium literally baked into the game.

Does not make it right for you to call others dense. Everyone has their own opinion and to call players dense is pretty rude and unnecessary.

Thank you for your valued input. You can return to unicorn land now, where everyone is fair with eachother and the snow is actually glitter.

Yes, it does.

It saves what raid bosses you have beat and at what level.
It saves your progress on various world quests and let’s you resume that progress from where you were if step away.
It saves what you have progressed in terms of levels, reputation, professions, and currencies.

This notion you have that MMOs don’t save the progress you’ve done is a fallacy. You keep making the same points that are just false, and ultimately, your perspective of how it should be done, while I am stating how I think it should be improved.

Unsure why you just can’t accept that I see things differently, including the notion it can be challenging while also saving progress made. To repeat what someone else stated:

These aren’t mindless mechanics. They’re literally part of the challenge. Like people asking to remove the timer from M+. Like people asking to remove Enrages from bosses, or remove X or Y mechanic.

Can’t do it ? Too bad. No nerfs.

Don’t like it ? Don’t do it. It’s 4 cosmetic rewards.

You are plenty uncivil and name call all the time; making accusations about people without any proof.

You are a hypocrite.

No, it doesn’t.

For purposes of loot lockout. And a Boss is an encounter, same as a M+ dungeon, same as a TC Layer. A fact you keep forgetting.

No, if the WQ times out and you haven’t done it, the next time you start back at 0. That example is blatantly false.

A Maw mount is not a cosmetic reward.

There’s truth there. If it was just an additional mount, it would be truly a cosmetic reward. Instead, it’s something given to make the experience in the maw easier.

Inb4 he tells me to reroll as a druid or something. Dense people be dense.

Sure it is. And it’s not limited to Torghast either.

Which you can get outside of Torghast.

If you want to be able to mount in the Maw, either farm the Hunt or put in the time in Twisting Corridors.

All this time in this thread ? That’s a layer that’s done.
