18 floors is too many

I’m not complaining about content being too hard or whining about current challenge modes. If I did, I would link my warlock alt and ask for tips on how to complete current content. It’s fine you’re posting your opinion but every single post you’ve made has just been bashing the game and whining about optional content. Until you post on your retail toon, I’m just going to assume you are a classic player, never touched Shadowlands and are here just to troll and bash the current game.

Really has absolutely nothing to do with my reply or what I had quoted in it.

I can revise. If Blizzard puts in rewards that the general playerbase is interested in obtaining, cosmetics for example, then folks generally seem to be more motivated to complete it. Mage Tower being a good example, there were cries for nerfs, but were generally ignored. Especially since it was 100% optional to participate in it or not as the reward was only cosmetic.

I think one issue with TC and folks whining about it just don’t see the time invested as worth while. So if you put in a sparkle sword, folks will probably feel more obliged to deal with the challenge. Similar to Mage Tower.

Blizzard knows it’s optional (outside of the one quest) so like Mage Tower they’re likely to not nerf it.

I can repeat. This has nothing to do with the challenge/difficulty.

I think it does, put in better rewards and I think more players are willing to cope with the difficulty/challenge aspect of the content. :woman_shrugging:

Y’all were talkin’ about how Blizzard is likely to nerf the content, and I’m just sayin’ that I think the folks whining are redirecting their annoyance.

But we can end the conversation, that’s ok.

I think the reward is good enough for what you get. The maw mount is what drives me to complete the content. I’m planning on achieving this goal in the nearish future. I want that maw mount just so my alts can get around easier while having to complete those daily maw quests. I also think it’s a nice achievement mount to have

I don’t disagree, but I think the community just loves cosmetics. Doubly so if they’re limited time cosmetics. Throw in some recolors as greens from enemies and you’ll have a frenzy.

Yep this is what they need to do, have the instance save once you kill a boss just like in raid. This way every 6 floors if someone wants to they can take a break or go do something else then come back and continue.

LOL, projecting much?

Considering how many call you a schill for Blizzard at best, or a troll at worst, with threads that get flagged for trolling.

Go ahead, assume all you want about me, I certainly do the same about you…

I had runs where I went to the store or took a shower. You can take breaks on floors 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18.

Can’t you just stay invisible by the door on any floor though? I went afk for like 10ish minutes without an issue on a floor 4.

The general ‘new floor protection’ buff we get I mean.

This content isn’t even 2 weeks old. You have 8 layers to do.

You guys literally have months to do this. Doing just 1 layer a week, if that, will leave you with plenty of time.

The only challenge is the RNG. You can get great powers and fly through it or get atrocious powers and have a horrible time.

So you literally have no idea what you’re talking about. Cool. Time sinks aren’t challenges.

I have to agree with the OP. There should be a way to pick up where you left off. You’d still need to do 18 floors. You’d still need to be able to beat the final Boss.

I don’t see the issue.

They’ve designed the game so most people can’t get it yet until they get more permanent torghast upgrades and more gear.

Welcome to organized raiding.

Soul forge is arguably the easiest one to deal with.

There is, you get saved after a full layer is complete, you don’t have to start over at Layer 1.

well yeah but not when you’re afk
