18 bots in Steamvault on my server, all 58 boosted

It is 2021, we don’t judge people. Don’t get yourself cancelled by the masses.

Pretty much this.

I think the real reason is that it isn’t fiscally sound (from their point of view) to do any more than they are right now. It is a minority issue as it really only resonates on forums like these and even then it doesn’t have the full support of everyone here. As forum posters represent a small fraction of the playerbase, it just isn’t a big enough issue to devote any more resources on.

Now, if it started showing up in mainstream gaming mags/websites regularly, they would most likely adjust course and do more. Until that happens, and let’s face it that isn’t likely to happen, they simply have no motivation to do anything more than the occasional ban.

Are you really surprised?
Banning flyhacking bots that aren’t as easy to spot is banning a $15 a month revenue source, same reason they’re usually unwilling to touch multiboxers.

Just call me a Paladin because I’m judging you.

That is very boomer of you.

I remember wrath of the lich king. There were flying blood elves flying through Wintergrasp (without mounts). I had reported the ONE I’ve seen, years ago.

There was6a lot of pushback because boosts have been popular since they were introduced in retail.

The tin foil hat crowd here on the forum blames everything on boosts. It’s really quite hilarious.

Are you judging me?

Wouldn’t that be completely ironic?

Imagine being so incompetent that you can’t stop gold buying meta from taking over in first month. Now bots are overflowing AH with cheap mats and selling gold in droves, so we can’t farm normally.

And to think all they need to do is add payed boost and the token and the problem is solved smh.

Or maybe invest into tackling down on bots farming gold 24/7. These bots in Steamvaults are on 24/7 farming ores, then dumping them on AH for cheapest price, making it hard for anyone to farm gold with mining.

Blizzard isn’t what it used to be. If anyone has some game suggestions, I’m all ears.

Seems like an overly complicated waste of time just add token and boost and rake in the cash instead. Let’s be honest no one wants to go pick flowers all day just let us buy gold and que into BG/arena so we can enjoy the small slice of good content the game has to offer. Best part is the dudes who want to pick flowers all day get payed to do so now instead of a Chinese bot.

So, buy some of those cheap mats and craft some expensive consumables and gear. Then destroy the gold to defeat the bots.

Aww, look at you coming to the rescue!

But, really, it’s not like I can actually verify any of that is actually true. Now, what I can do is determine that anyone who knows enough English to work his way to an English-speaking environment knows the very basics.

And it does not take an advanced knowledge of the English language to know what the plural of “child” is. That knowledge comes within the preliminary steps. This is no different than knowing that “lápiz” doesn’t get turned into “lápizes” in Spanish. For someone like me, who just knows the very basics of Spanish, I knew enough to realize that not every plural requires an “s” to make it plural.

Anyone who would assume that doesn’t know how language works in general. This has nothing to do with English in particular.

Ultimately, however, the main point of my comment was to reveal that the person in question is really just deliberately wasting your time. Every comment they make exposes their ignorance and that their purpose is just to continually string you along.

I report bots quite a bit by recording it then sending to hacks@blizzard.com because some stuff can’t be right click reported. Screen shot documenting or video documenting allows for them to watch / see it if it can’t be reported in the normal functionality.

How many languages do you speak/write fluently?

Blizzard could put a tough elite next to each node.

Lota sweats in this thread tbh.

There isn’t enough ores/herbs in open for most people. Like it or not but bots keep the costs down.

The people who are mad are people who cannot run gathering cartels or who’s bots aren’t gathering enough themselves.
