$16 an hour, starting, to be a test analyst for WoW

It was in the last post when it was revealed some weeks ago, when it was found out, he wanted to disappear again, threw a pity party on himself, then back at it again. He’ll never change.

My time has come!

Now I just need to let my wife know that I’ll be taking like a 90% pay cut. I doubt she will mind.

Might as well just work at mcdonalds for more money out in cali :')

So I looked over the postings on the careers website.

You need a Bachelors degree and 3 years experience to be a minimum wage game tester.

Yeah, no wonder their games no longer have any quality assurance.

Yeah Cata Classic seems a tad rough around the edges atm

I never used a credit card and later on in my life that started to become more and more of a problem.

I had to get credit cards for the sole purpose of building credit, then would buy a couple bags of chips every month to keep the limit as low as humanly possible.

Such a dumb system

It’s him, all evidence was shown in a mail that was sent in gmae by some random person that deleted it, showing pictures/screenshots. I dont have it anymore, because i dont have the bank space for that kinda stuff.

But i will continue to point out who zuma is

This post was made on apr 30.

By then the classic team knew that cata pre patch was going to be insanely bugged. (and spoilers it still is)

Why this post didnt happen like a month or two ago?

No they don’t cause they have no reason too as education is free here. Plus you also get an income being a student. No reason to take out a credit card or loan or anything.

You can literally make more an hour starting at McDonald’s, and I guarantee it will be less stressful, no crunch and no overtime.

I’m not saying McDonald’s a better job. I’m saying Blizzard needs to pay more.

Did you buy your house in the 80s or is it a cracker box?

Even in the midwest that’s a dirt cheap payment.

No its a 2 story, 4 bedroom home with 2 sheds and a pool. Located in a the 3rd largest town in my state (QLD, Aus) and I bought my home 5 years ago.

100% insanity that is.

I was making 16/hr working basic Tier 2 IT support in 2002. Cant Imagine that rate at a decent job that requires proper schooling in 2024. I legit make more than Double that rate and have a far simpler Job in Computer Repair. They start people in my field at $28/hr. This is fresh out of school too.

Blizzards requirements of this Job do match the pay rate or even come close

And just think as an OTR truck driver with my own authority I made mid 6 figures…and this job posting requires a Bachelor’s degree lol at max pay of around 70k ish lol

You and me are linked. I was thinking the EXACT same thing.

70k? Its 16/hr. Thats roughly 33k/yr which is laughable in 2024. I wouldnt even get out of bed for that

The fact that a 16/hr Job requires a Bachelor’s degree is Lunacy

Oh so you’re not in the states. You can go to a realtor site and look up des moines iowa and see what you could get here for your budget.

As midwest we are pretty low compared to east or west coast. 800 a month is less than 150k and it gets you nothing here.

The job posting say Between 16 dollars and 30 dollars an hour the pay rate…

So yea when I said max pay around 70k ish is 100% correct

I stand corrected

That range alone is insane considering the job requirements.

Only until they’re replaced by machines, or something to that effect.
Because no shot it’s going to stay that way for long without massive layoffs.
