15th Anniversary Items

As of 11/06/19, I have 2 characters that are missing the anniversary package which I opened earlier. When attempting to open a ticket, the link to select my realm and character was not working either. Since Blizzard has an issue with that step, I’m unable to complete the ticket and ‘submit’. There’s a bug with submitting bugs. Nice going guys!

Tried to submit a ticket on two of my characters. Unfortunately there is a bug with submitting a ticket, since the field to select the Realm and Character is BROKEN. Can’t get past this step in order to hit ‘submit’.

Are you trying to submit a ticket in-game or through the website? If in-game, it may be an addon or corrupt file so I’d recommend resetting your User Interface.

However, try through the website, here.

Perhaps, if that were the only way to do so. As Vrak mentioned, I’m willing to bet heavily on some UI corruption. There’s also an aptly-named Bug Report forum that functions in the exact same way.

I’m making this post to let people that if you’re sending a ticket to a GM about the glitched 15th anniversary event. Please be very specific and make sure that in your inital letter, you advise them that your character doesn’t have the buff. I got a timely response back after 2 days from a GM saying that they looked over everything to make sure I was good to go, and good news, I got all the items. My initial response was to bash my head against a concrete wall. If I had all my items I’d be soaking up that Wow 15th anniversary xp/rep gain buff, but nope, no celebration package in my bags, so no way to reapply the buff. {Removed} I miss my old Blizz.

I would strongly recommend you remove the masked profanity unless you intentionally hoped to breach TOS and want your account potentially suspended.

That being said, it’s remarkable how laying out exactly what the issue is in your help tickets gets an issue resolved faster than just saying “help” or being vague in your descriptions, or adding a lot of unnecessary hyperbole.

It’s not masked profanity. It’s Chinese. And while I’m sure it was meant to be insulting, I don’t believe it qualifies as profanity.

I don’t know. I laid out exactly what the problem was on day one before maintanence and still don’t have my buff back.

Despite the offensively phrased suggestion otherwise, we’re still very much the same old Blizz, Vonverner. As much as we may not like it, we make mistakes, especially in the early days of an issue and while policy on how to handle it is still being established. I don’t know how your first ticket was phrased but often things get lost when too much information is provided, it isn’t so much about the “buff” as the celebration package. I’d focus on that.

If you submit the ticket from the character who was missing the items, please reopen the ticket and just state that your “Celebration package disappeared, please replace it”.

No, but I can see exactly how it translates and it by no means is appropriate either. It doesn’t have to be vulgar language for it to be inappropriate.
