I’ve seen like two… All season… I only play 4-5 bgs a week (on the weekend when I have time and I’m done all my pve chores ).
Both times my team also had a premade. Once we got smashed and the other one was super close and I won us the game because I 1v2d two non premade people and capped a cart as it was capping and we won in the final seconds.
I’ve faced literally 100% premades whenever I que with my 3s buddies and we usually get stomped. Honestly I’d love for the hardcore premades to just go do rbgs like they should but I’m not sacrificing that so I can play with a buddy or two for poops and giggles.
Really eh? I’ve yet to have a completely healer less start… Some leave but never no healers. Damage is so high though I’ve definitely noticed fewer healers first season was a lot of 3v3 healers and now it’s a lot more 1/2 healer games
Nailed it. The system seems to have been hastily altered in a very simplistic way. Altered enough that it’s noticeable that premade matching is happening, but not in a way that is exacting.
Not sure if we can say this is a Blizz bad or the fault of the population numbers not being able to support a more exacting system.
Lower lvl BGs are pretty bad about this. I was playing 29 for months because cap is such a circus. It’s common to get 4 or more healers vs 1 or none. Calling out to offhealers (boomies, rets, spriest, et al) to toss one here or there when they could for our team makes a huge difference. I found the dps heavy team would steamroll the healer heavy team almost every time. They just couldn’t maintain a high enough dps lvl to take us.
Dps specs with heal can make a devastating difference. I routinely played with a spriest that outhealed pure healers while outdamaging the other teams dps at the same time. Rocax ran Ret and outhealed pure healers.
Well, that might take a little bit more time to read toon mouseover tooltips and make comparisons. It’s not much more work to see that, and if they’re all in the same guild, then QQ is the thing to do!
Got in a match with a 5 man premade from Area 52 on my side but two of the five were honor level 5 and honor level three. The top one was honor level 30. They got destroyed and thus my team lost.
Lopsided BGs are caused by premades with both item level and experience against not-so-much.
Yeah cause those are 2 of the biggest servers that was pvp focused in the game.
If I had to guess the majority of my lfg partners, since they opened up cross server, probably been tich/dark/ED.
So that arguement of “oh all same server” just doesn’t track.
premades should be should be encouraged to do rated bgs and leave the damn regular bgs for the casual, novice, and beginners ect… these elite groups need to do rated !
I remember back in the day regular bgs were for the less skilled players and rated was where the good players went to play, now there is no where for beginners to learn pvp without being used or abused, it truly is a broken and archaic system.
