Well except for the part where I’m also totally fine with 1.12 AV because it is superior to 1.5 AV which is of course why it was changed in the first place during vanilla.
Now if you want to talk about trolling talk about the people claiming 1.12 AV is the same retail despite huge differences namely reinforcements. Or the people claiming that 1.12 AV is just a massive zerg despite that not being even close to the truth. Or the people claiming that 1.12 AV was just put in place in preparation for BC when in reality blizzard started changing AV very early on due to its defects.

/shrug the discussion has been done to death, some people prefer the NPC heavy version which forces pve and some people prefer the later more pvp oriented version.

So, to be clear to everyone: I am a big fan of Brick’s post about not just flagging people who disagree with you as trolls just because they disagree with you. I’m happy to have a discussion on the topic.
This, however, is trolling. If you’re trying to barter your position away, you are not here for a good-faith discussion. Any and all should feel absolutely no shame in reporting, no matter what side you’re on in the debate, to remove such a flagrantly distasteful attempt to skew the narrative.
Let’s discuss Z.12’s track record.
This list was compiled off just his posts from today and one from my own post history because it’s a constant battle I’ve had with him. You can easily go further back and find plenty more examples.
While I, frankly, hate wasting the time it takes to put something like this together, we as a community have a problem which Z.12 here embodies. Am I telling you to report him as a brigade? No, not really. Do what you think is right on your own.
But I am telling you that if you see someone who doesn’t actually contribute to a conversation, but rather keeps trying to yell louder, even when they’re lies – especially when they’re lies – or someone who distorts history, or claims fact where we can only make conjecture…
You may have a genuine troll problem, and that is why the little flag button exists.

Pretty much all the arguments against you are pretty much the same arguments people made against classic, or “You think you do”. I agree with you, I would like the option for those of us that want it. But we have classic coming, so I don’t want to sound pushy, but thankful:… and hopeful that we may get this option in the future.
I think the AV weekened test proved it all. Streamers were bored. Their fans were bored.
It was just a bare-bones experience.

Naw I’m good. Just saying day long AV’s were not that great. Farming rep became a chore because of the crappy old AV.
I recall my guild using an Addon to queue up premades just because how bad AV would get too.

Then you were doing it wrong, because there were a slew of ways to accumulate rep while the AV was going on, rather than just at the end.

Nope. I recall it. Sorry but not sorry. My opinion and yours differ. But at end day old AV sucked. I played both factions on different servers. Dethroc((Alliance)) and Deathwing((Horde)). Legit waste of time to go into those long AVs because it was just turtled mess.
How is pointing out the avenues to gain rep an “opinion”?
I don’t think we gained rep while inside AV once summons were burnt and such. I recall at some point in day long AV honor gains went down the drain too. I am sorry you love arguing but old AV was not -that- fun. Sorry you’re mad :(.
There are thousands of posts on this forum asking for an earlier version of AV.

It seemed very boring and unlike original AV when I watched the streamers. There was another thread specifically about beta folks’ experiences and they mentioned some games were both sides racing to the end.

ITT: People pretending 1.11 AV is superior to earlier versions(1.5) and that it fits better into a CLASSIC version of WoW. Good joke if I’ve ever heard one. Settling for a version of AV that produces LESS content in a game that’s overall content is finite. Can’t wait to see all the defenders of this version of AV complaining about the lack of queue pops a couple months after launch.
