the reason to play battlegrounds is to compete for rank, when AV gives 4-6x the amount of honor per hour that WSG does its obviously not worth to play except for “fun” and people won’t do that until they have the gear, but part of the fun is the competition to get to the top to GET THE GEAR so then what is the drive to play WSG and buy FAPs etc. when there’s no reason to do it other than “fun”

okay Mr. lead i know everything is going over your simple pea brain but listen;
the current iteration of AV is so easy that it imbalances how to acquire honor because everyone can easily run though AV therefore it ruins WSG when in vanilla WSG was the main way to rank up and get honor
do you not see the domino affect of how this easy AV affects everything else?
no the classic AV was originally filled with tons of NPCs and elites
– then put this in the bug forum because, if this is an oversight, they will fix it soon.
Also, now you need to explain why the video I linked is fake.
– because if it is 1.12 AV, which I’m pretty sure it is, then you came to the wrong game. They told us very well in advance that they were making 1.12 WoW. If you didn’t like that, you should not have come and any problems you might have with the game are not anybody’s fault but your own.
Finally, I already told you how you can sabotage AV.
i take issue with this, they said they would be using it as a base, only this feb did they confirm AV would be in it’s 1.12 state.
Did you have reason to suspect it would be different? They said “WoW was going to be based on 1.12.” What part of that implied they were putting many different patches together?
It’s a good thing we “whined” about being able to play vanilla again, or this thread wouldn’t exist.
I guess you’re right though, complaining never changed anything… We should just take our lumps and not tell Blizzard what we want. Surely they can just read our minds instead. Maybe they’ll read the bottom line when all of us who re-subbed to play classic unsub once again.

all private servers are based on 1.12 which means nothing. changing 1 line of code allows me change the current patch level. 1.12 means progress in terms of bugs.
saying classic would be based on 1.12 is not the same as classic will be 1.12. semantics but words have meaning. it was at that time when we started these threads asking them to reconsider the 1.12 AV

You misunderstand me, I advocate for an older version of AV - pre-october 2005 AV should work.
A lot of people who agree with you about AV difficulty appear to be saying differently though.
Secondly, what do you say to all of the people who are having a good time with 1.12 AV?

If you played on nost you got a chance to really appreciate true AV played at a high level with shredders, mines, bosses and no zerg.
