The difficulty argument is one of the big reasons blizzard switched to a single size at 20 man so somewhat in between, they acknowledged that they would never evenly balance all the fights so inevitably it created problems where one size or the other was deemed easier.
10m is easier.
Literally most 10m players were trash in wotlk, couldn’t kill pre buff heroic LK but they are actually fully clearing 13/13H as 10m, it’s no surprise why.
Right 10 man was explicitly tuned easier in wrath that’s why it had you know worse loot and separate achieves etc…
Not the case in Cata.
No, they did 25m in wotlk not 10m.
For instance your boy Amideus.
But they are progging much faster in 10m t11 which is a harder tier… interesting
lol 10M cata is way harder than anything in wotlk, and as someone who has actually prog’d both to 13/13H, 10M is harder in cata, although its pretty well balanced in T11. Neither actually has a boss thats just a wall.
I bet you didn’t clear pre buff heroic LK on 25m but you did 13/13H t11 on 10m
Yeah, it’s not equal, by design, for the health of 25m raiding.
Why do you think Rag is significantly harder on 10?
You just got 10m 13/13H this week, you’re raiding 13/13H 25 on another character as well?
HLK has entered the chat.
HLK 10 was hard too and SUPER comp restrictive. Without the incentive of top ilvl loot. Honestly I don’t think T11 is much harder than, say, Ulduar HMs.
I’m looking at his logs and it appears that his guild does 1 3 hr night a week and finished prog this week killing council (arguably the hardest boss on 25) after 6 attempts. Looks like the most prog wipes on any boss is maybe 18 on Sinestra, though it’s hard to tell since the progress thing doesn’t work for 10m. I’d love to see his 13/13H 25 that is having an even easier time.
Yes I saw he had 18 wipes on Sinestra.
Id be interested in his 25m runs too.
Whoever he’s doing 25 on isn’t in his guild, because that guild isn’t doing any 25m
I think he’s lying tbh
“Just got 13/13h this week” lol we’d be a top tier team if we raided more than our super casual schedule. Sinestra took us 10 pulls on July 14th for our first kill.
Obviously without rag being released yet even on a beta its based on knowledge from playing the game back in the day. If you raided back then as I did rag was well known for being significantly harder on 10M.
We’ll see now though, I’m guessing it will be released in the post-nerf version, where you no longer raid wipe if you don’t make a perfect triangle in the heroic only phase lol.
And your 25m character name?
Or was that a lie?
Anyone that actually cares about difficulty is fairly slow in the mind. Playing a solved game that’s many years old. Is 10 harder, is 25 harder… blah blah. The only reason anyone cares about the number of loots is they have a size they like… and think any advantage that size has needs to be amplified so that their side in some loser war of the raid sizes can win. When they both lose. Come WOD they both die. If we get there.
What a brain dead post
Rag is a reputably difficult 25m boss that took the world first guild hundreds of wipes. I would be quite shocked to learn it was “significantly harder” on 10m. The world first 25m guild was also the world first 10m guild. And it seems like Paragon disagrees with your assessment.

Yes, I see that, 3 hours a week makes progression difficult. But you’re also 13/13H in a 25? Is that not your main?
Yes pretty much every fight is far easier because so much less health, damage of raid abilities hit for far less.
It’s just what’s been said about this tier over and over again too, I’m not really surprised tbh.
Also he’s for sure lying about doing 25m
There’s 9 13/13H 25m guilds on Atiesh, which 1 are you in?
You wouldn’t be lying would you?
Should be easy to provide your toon name, I see you haven’t yet tho.
We are all still waiting in anticipation for you to show us your 25m prog.
Or are you ready to admit you were just lying because you do 10m and want it to be harder?
Blink we both know they will never admit it. It’s the wow forums.
Well when you quote it out of context sure you can make it look like i posted something redundantly obvious, the point of the message was to compare the 2 and the fact that the mage in a 25 man raid for 1 week vs the one in a 10 man for over a month got more geared in one night. This is a post about 10m loot vs 25. Imagine missing the point
Inconceivable!
kekw
Loot is RNG.
So kind of a terrible comparison.
Just add in random roll coin. Even if its just 1 per week. At least then everyone has an extra shot at one boss a week. This can even go to 25 mans as well to not shake off the all so important “advantage” they must have to continue to force people into that raid size because “its so much harder and the organizational skills are beyond comprehension” for everyone running 10s to understand (although most did it in WotLK and TBC).
