10m Cata Loot - Increase but +1 Drop

Or instead of 3 drops all the time just make the third drop a % chance

I think the problem with the extra drop chance % is that it’s good overall but you still have a chance to get screwed by it when you are after specific chase items, like you need a trinket from atramedes but for 4 weeks in a row, you only rolled 2 items

I guess we’re getting kind of close to like mop bonus rolls with my system tho

Best system is to add a currency that drops off each boss that can be traded in for a raid item.

Remove 1 item from 25m and replace it with this currency.

Whatever makes 10m equal do that and add the same currency.

What about something purchasable from the guild store that like 1 use per guild per week 10 man or 3x 25 man that let’s you get a pick of a any item from a boss after you kill it.

No RNG, it’s really not that much extra loot being added overall, and it creates a social dynamic which some people apparently like.

Alakir/Nef/Sinestra (or cho on normal) drop 1 token to everyone (heroic and normal versions) on either difficulty

Vendor to buy any item, costs 3/6/9 per item

(minor slots/major slots/weapons&trinkets)

Maybe add in some new items straight up missing (dps caster wand)

Genuinely uninstall. I do not mean this as insult, I mean it as advise. You are arguing you don’t enjoy engaging with the content or other people in this game. You are playing it solely in the pursuit of seeing big numbers on your gear and then logging off until bigger numbers come out.
Why are you playing World of Warcraft if your intended goal from your play sessions is to play for 2 weeks then log off for 5 months repeat.
You do not have a healthy or happy relationship with this game.

That would be a different game entirely; wow raid loot has always been cursed by RNG

Its not the loot quantity, its the bad luck RBG nature of it that really sucks. 25 man, you’re pretty much guaranteed too see every piece at least once in 2-3 resets. Where as I have yet to see 3 of my bis pieces this whole teir. Where as my 25 man character is pretty much full bis.

On avg 25 man raids are avg 3-4 ilvl higher than 10 man raids.

I’m reading so many lame excuses/arguments.

Bottom line is it’s not fair or mathematically equal, and 10m heroics are no joke either.

Please increase 10m loot!

Efficient in getting enough players yes… clearing content 10 man is not… considering there is less room for error/lack of DPS/healing… especially in heroic content… in 25 you can have 5 really bad players and still get by…

Come to think of it, been running 10man since raid launch and never seen a single Ashkandi drop … :rofl: on at least 3 separate 85s, running almost each week. kinda funny now that i think about it

You can make as much arguments why 25 is harder, at the end the difficulty in cata of 10vs25 depends on the boss and there is a good amount of end bosses which are worse on 25m. There is a good balance in term of 10m vs 25m for participation, I dont think we need comparatively to make 10m better but I think its fair to make everything better.

less room for error might be true, less room for lack of dps/healing isn’t correct, 10 mans are tuned differently than 25 mans, they require less dps and healing per player, boss hp is reduced by roughly 330% in 10 man, in the standard 2-2-6 vs 2-5-18 dps format, you have extra damage in 10

the top chogall in the world (by progress) is a 25 man 3 heal and its still slower than the top 10 man kill in the world, even playing 2-3-20 with 6 mages

There is 1 hard fight in cata, heroic rag, and its significantly harder on 10M.

You base entire arguments on twisting words, how about not giving me advice on what to do?

2 or 3 13/13H clears is not 2 or 3 weeks total rofl. Its about 2.5 months for my team. And yes, thats plenty.

The real fix probably would be to put in everyone just gets a bonus roll or two a week for doing some trivial task. It works great going forward. I doubt they will do anything. Mostly because doing… and anything… is exactly what no one wants to do around here.

There’s debatable points on FL on both sides. A big argument is how 10m doesn’t have any dps or healing check as close to 25m and this was paragon point of view. 25m fights which I think I have seen posted before also last way longer than 10m because of that.

I don’t think the difficulty argument can go to any side as clear as people would want. It’s way easier to simply go for the larger size being more rewarding which at the end of the day works well as there is a good balance of 10m and 25m. If 10m were ghost towns maybe there should be heavy concerns but they’re not.
