I got 2 mounts this month and i still have 2k left
So I have to choose between two different outfits, both with a yellow and blue variation. That’s cool Blizz. Real dope.
Yeah lemme just blow this 5k tender I have saved up on vanity items. Or better yet, let me continue to numb the desire to collect these items because that OCD collector’s urge can never be satisfied with Trading Post.
Great implementation. So glad Blizzard is doing this the best way possible. Yup, absolutely the best approach. Not a single game comes even close. Nope, not a single one.

What are people spending theirs on? There just isn’t anything worth getting 90% of the time.
That’s not how the Trading Post works.
Learn to manage your Tender. Understand you aren’t meant to buy much. It all comes back around.

People like different things, I like pets, accessories and the sometimes a mount. Pets are high ticket items and the little accessories while cheap can add up. Some months I spend most of the tenders and other months I spend less.
Also people don’t forget you can freeze an item to pick up later.

All of that is fine but obviously the intention was never for people to get all or even most of the items each month. I guess I see the request for more tenders as being about the same as a request for “better” items to buy. Valid but no more so than anything another person might want but not be getting from it.
I don’t buy anything most months but I’ve accepted that the trading post isn’t a viable route for getting things I’d like because they don’t populate it with things that are up my alley. People that want it all should rein in their expectations as well.
It is just so hard when you have months like this were there are quiet a few high tender items that you want. I did not think I would like the swimwear but it is pretty cute when seen in game. Personally I froze the mount because I wanted the pet and few other items more.
It really does come down to how well you can mange disappointment to be honest.

That’s true. For me the TP disappointment came and went a long time ago and isn’t a monthly thing anymore. I’m more pleasantly surprised to find something I do want than disappointed if I don’t.
This month I grabbed both mounts since I had almost 7k.

Don’t worry, VERY soon now you’ll suddenly be able to buy tenders in the cash shop, either directly, or they will sell some random pet/transmog with 3000 FREE BONUS TENDERS etc

I’d probably have around 5k right now if I didn’t miss a few months, but mostly I just buy the small ticket cosmetics and that adds up to like 600 a month or so usually. I did waste 500 on that Brewfest back item a while back before I realized an actual shield version would be included in the event, so…still really salty about that.
Yeah, I use this feature like crazy. Even if it’s just to hold something for a while until I decide I don’t actually want it that much.

I wish I could share your views on it, but I can’t help myself when it comes to the pets and sometimes there’s a mount I really like. Usually I pick up some silly bit of transmog and am happy but the last few months have really caught my attention with what’s available. I got to buy two items this month, the surfboard mount and some piddly thing that cost 60 tender I had to spare. Had to give up the blazing hippogryph I saved from last month to save the pet from this month because I couldn’t afford the little guy. Hopefully next month isn’t anything good so I can at least grab both pets between this month’s being frozen and next month’s when it drops.
If I was going to do anything with this, I’d up the cap for how much you can earn in a month, bringing it up to 1500 would mean that people would have an easier time with the “big ticket items” like the mounts or transmog sets while still being able to get the fun small items.

If I don’t get more chicken tenders, how can I buy another color of shoulder/hood/scarf/cloak/cloak/dress/gloves?
I only have 29 colors to choose from, that’s not nearly enough.

I still haven’t spent any of my tender, ever. I just never see anything that I’d actually use. I usually prefer just to wear what I earn.

Nah, you aren’t the only one. I would say there are probably a fair percentage of players that don’t care about such things, but it’s probably still a minority. I don’t care much about mounts usually, but I love the pets. Others are transmog fanatics but don’t care about pets or mounts. You’ll find people of different tastes all over, but I would say it’s fairly safe to assume most people are interested in collecting something in the game.

Definitely. 1k will not get you much. Especially in months that give you multiple mounts and other overpriced items.
I myself wanted to get the sunmer attire and mount and water gun plus the colorful tabards shoulders and hoods i realized that i wasnt going to be able to afford everything. And that surfboard alone should have been the reward for getting all the points this month, or the summer attire like they did the magical girl outfit back in february.
I understand that we arent supposed to get everything in the trading post but they need to work on the pricing so we can get just a little more for our hard work. 600+ for a mount is ridiculous. 500+ for a whole getup is ridiculous also. Full outfits should be no more than 300 at the most. And mounts should be no more than 500.
Monthly rewards should be somethinh everyone wants. IE mounts and and full xmog outfits. Not pets, no item recolors or single slot items. It may sound like i’m askinh for a lot, but i am not being unreasonable.
