What’s with all the hysteria posts about an upcoming video game expansion?

This is funny, because there is no evidence he actually ever said this.

I honestly feel bad for people who can’t just reschedule. I can show up to work on a day I had scheduled off, cancel the PTO and reschedule.

Not even just about game scheduling either, you could schedule literally ANY vacation and have it blow up in your face lol

Think of all the people who had vacations scheduled for Easter >.>

That is the stupidest idea I have seen in a while. The reason the game is a crap-fest is because of doing stuff like this. I would also like to address the the other end of the spectrum were the employees at Blizzard seem distracted and think writing 2 lines of code is ok and then go jack around for 6 hrs.
It’s called having dated work deadlines
you need x amount of work done to be on schedule by this time for the project to be completed on time. The rest of the work world can do it why can’t Blizz. F!!!

Citation needed, because I highly doubt they aren’t slaving their butts off right now in crunch time.

Hundreds of bugs are being cleared up every single beta patch.

They should have not committed to a release date before they could be certain the deadline could be made with a finished product.

But they have, so stop delaying the prepatch so people actually have time to prepare for its rushed launch date

Very true. I’m sure a lot of plans and vacations didn’t go as planned this year.

I just remember how we ALWAYS traveled during easter break lol

Most people aren’t okay with delays on an item they already paid for. I know I dont want any delays myself. But I’d also rather have a good product then a subpar product that has to be fixed later. Unfortunately even if they do delay it I’m starting to feel like it’s not gonna be ready whenever they do release it. To many variables to adjust and we all know how bad they are at doing that properly.

You’re right.
I want those big red Xs off the screen.

Plus, they might want to release before Cyberpunk in November, to make sure people are hooked enough.

Looks like Blizz called my bluff. Well played

Once a company is a certain size
if they make a claim that the product will be released on day “x” it damned well better be released

What they are saying the delay is for
is crap lonnie boy has been scoffing at for months

Hur hur hur we pull duh cord hurhur i dun raided 10 years ago me smaaaaaaat.

When has Bliz ever cared about balancing? please
point it out to me, I have yet to see it.

Theyve been claiming covid didnt slow things down. Lonnie boy ignoring complaints for months. And the talking head who made the statement today said come hell or highwater there would be no delay. So yeah. They screwed up, down, sideways and 4th dimensionally.

I mean
lets face it bets been like a constipated guy on the toilet. He pushes and pushes but given more time you still are going to end up with the same pile of feces. But. By all means polish that turd.

Ion is still the guy (Mr. Systems as I call him) in charge of designing the game. So while the delay is good, giving him more time isn’t suddenly going to get him to listen to the community more and abandon his more stupid ideas ever.

They are not delaying the expansion because of covenants, soul binds, and conduits.

Leveling alts is still broken.
The Maw is still empty.
Questing is bugged and incomplete
Classes have not yet gone through a tuning pass
Quest lines are not smooth (and in some cases broken)
Etc.

If they wait it’s gonna be broken

How do I down vote the original post?
