The problem is that, when you only have 2 chances at items you can get severely unlucky like our group has been on Sinestra. We haven’t seen the Int cloak, tank boots, ele sham boots in 16 weeks of clearing. But we have seen 11 Shards of Woe, and no, I’m not exaggerating that number. Something needs to be done, either adding more loot so we have a higher chance at getting items we don’t already have or something to augment the chances of loot that’s already dropped 11 times from not dropping anymore.
Yeah I mean I understand that part more items means a higher chance at those key items
And then there’s also fights that are harder on 10 man because you simply have less people to cover the things that need to be covered.
The reality is most fights are no different in difficulty on 10 or 25 man and for the remaining few it swings one way or the other with no size being obviously easier over all.
Consider running a 25-man raid to increase your loot; it’s always an option. If you opt for a 10-man raid and are aware of its loot drop rates, yet lament the scarcity of loot, it might seem irrational. It’s like the definition of insanity: doing the same thing repeatedly without any change and expecting a different outcome.
See now this is copium.
You read all that and it basically screams that you’re trying to convince yourself of this.
First 10 men was harder now it’s equal… it sounds like you’re trying to settle because deep down you know that 25 man is harder.
Pure unadulterated copium
I thought 25 was 2.5x more than 10 which was why there is 2.5x the loot.
Blizzard had to increase that in classic because originally 25 man just wasn’t as popular when the balance was the same.

The fights that are “debatably” harder on 10man are naturally easy in either modes. Majority can do either 10m or 25m without a sweat. These fights are all filter bosses that are really irrelevant in measuring the difficulty of the entire content.
Of all the iconic bosses, the end of raid end of patch end of expansion bosses, 25m is harder. Leishen, Rag, Raiden, Deathwing spine, Kil’Jaeden (TOS)… and the list goes on.
Well we’ll see how later bosses play out later but this phase Synestra and Nef are both harder on 10 man.
You are right that originally 25m was less popular. Mostly because it drops the same gear as 10m.
I prefer 10m as well. In fact I will choose solo mode if I can. Gathering 25 competent players is painful. But luckily I am not the raid leader.
These two bosses are relatively easy in either mode. Organized groups (10 or 25) should clear them within 25 pulls with pre-bis gear.
Rag is of a different level, it took us 130 pulls to kill (average 90+ parsed group) in PTR. Pretty sure Heroic Rag will be the major source of forum rage a month later.
I doubt the Classic team even comes into work most days lol
That’s cap lmao.
Nef is a joke on 10m
Doubt Blizz even hires enough Classic Devs to call it a team. #blamethebosses
I prefer to participate in 10-man raids; therefore, I request an increase in loot distribution.
They have employees. The employees choose not to do basic duties for their job. FREE pservers have better employees…and they work for free…
25m is 100% watered down. In 10m heroic, one bad player means no loot. In 25m heroic, 5-7 dead people? No problem!
10m has been nerfed constantly in this version, it’s literally the watered down version.
It has the nerfs the raid got up till 4.1 but it also got massive amounts of 10m only nerfs.
You can’t even die on 10m, you have the same health as 25m players but all the damage you take is 20% less.
You don’t even have DPS checks on 10m, infact you have the opposite, you have to actually hold DPS on a few bosses so you don’t phase them too fast.
Tell me youre carried in 25m and have never stepped foot in a 10m where youre responsible for yourself, without telling me
