See, your logic doesn’t make any sense. It’s not “Oh if you don’t like it, leave”, you should be trying to find a compromise, or let people have what they ask for. You obviously don’t care for AV, so why do you care if other people are allowed to have their fun?
You must have missed the part where I said ‘if you wanted to be competitive’. This is because you had a cap of conquest for the week, ashram gave you bonus conquest on top of a random epic once a week. If you didn’t do it everyday you were way behind. You would know this if you were even remotely decent at pvp. So yeah in order to be good in arena this was required, or you suffer falling behind.
And about the people avoiding each other? Not a lie. Once a week or so I would actually experience raid vs. raid but besides that horde did events, ally did general.
Maybe you were too caught up in your ashran community to realize this idk.
Ah your on ED, makes sense now. I’m sure you guys were drinking tea in the middle talking about your epics fights against the NPCs in ashran.
No they don’t. There wouldn’t be dozens of threads, with thousands of comments, if this was the case. If it was the case, people would be quiet about it. People were happy with Blizzard’s stance on loot trading. And now look how many threads we have about that.
AV 1.5 is PvP content. AV 1.12 is much closer to PvE content, as it consists of just rushing a boss. You literally just defeated yourself with your own argument.
You obviously never played hr long WSG matches or Ashran. Or even Wintergrasp. Or WPvP at the towers in EP. Or Hellfire.
I could go on, but I think you get the point.
I hope you’re right. Because it is the vocal minority that wants AV 1.12. Scroll up to my first reply.
Objectively false. Scroll up to my first reply.
When everyone’s characters are leveled, professions are finished, and they have done their fill of raiding, there will be nothing keeping players in this game.
The best reply that you could come up with to counter my argument would be that the towers in EP would give people something to do, as it is the only other thing, other than AV 1.5, that Classic can offer long-term, that Retail can’t.
I dig your point but the numbers and developers choice disagree with you
And so do I.
If any post or argument has to start with a click-bait style title i.e… ‘1.12 AV will kill Classic’ it is already pretty much nonsense and just a fun argument/troll post.
I assumed that’s what you were going for, mostly. Kind of a trolling, exaggerated falsehood.
Because 1.12 AV won’t kill anything but long, dull, turtles!
The rest of your post is not even worth replying to, because it would consist of me just copy/pasting my previous comment to you, as you countered no arguments, and just went onto attempting to insult me. Which, while I could easily defend myself, your opinion on my character is entirely irrelavent to me, and as such, I have nothing that I feel that I need to prove to you.
As for this part: I was on Darkspear at the time, as it was the primary hub for Alliance PvPers, that weren’t toxic. I only recently moved to Emerald Dream, in Legion, because Darkspear died.
Hmm, so an epic battle with powerful NPCs, landmines, gryphons, summoned elites is dull? But a 5 minute run to kill a boss isn’t? Interesting.
I’m noticing a pattern. The majority of people who are excited for 1.12 AV refer to is as a grind, and about getting through the bg as quickly as possible. And people who want earlier version just want the epic battle. Some people only see the bg as a means to an end, while others value the experience itself.
That’s fine by me, you were getting boring anyway. I mean… for Christ sake you think ashran is the best world pvp there is so there really wasn’t much to say to you in the first place
People don’t frequent forums except to complain, primarily. Common knowledge. And of course, complainers will post in complain/click bait style topics.
!00’s of thousands will be fine with the 1.12AV decision, promise!
Just like they were fine before.
Because 1.12 AV won’t kill anything but long, dull, turtles!
This is the thing I love that the people crying for earlier versions like to ignore. How boring it gets after you’ve played it so much. It is fun, I won’t lie, then it gets so freaking boring. Think of tol borad, the first time you did it it was amazing it was like wintergrasp on steroids in terms of pvp. Then you played two… then three… and it turned into a game where you’re literally just running in circles for 2 hours. Boring.
