Hi, I have been playing since the game available at Canada App Store. And I’m quite enjoying the game with little in game purchases. However since the first day of playing this game I noticed that this game eat the battery like a monster and my phone start getting hot after 30-40 mins playing, than the game start lag and glitch. My device is iPhone 14 plus. I don’t know is there anything you guys can do to fix this? Or that’s the way it is. Thx for the time reading this.
Me too
Every time I play a little bit my phone gets hot, the game becomes unstable,
maybe it’s designed so that we can play less?
LoL, so we should thx for BLZ. In this way we got more time spend on other games. Just saying playing 2 hrs torchlight will only use my less then 10% of the battery and my phone still cold as an ice cube, but Rumble will use more then 40% if I can play for 2 hrs, cause after half hr I have to stop otherwise my phone will nearly explode.
Howdy!
The first step is double-checking the device is support for the game Here. If it is then we should try to troubleshoot:
- Check for OS updates on your device
- Restart the device and ensure background programs are off.
- Lower screen brightness if possible.
- In the game, under settings, try disabling sFX.
Retest. If the issue continues, please take a moment to report your phone’s model and troubleshooting on our Bug report forums Here.
Thank you!
Having the same issue on iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Please fix this as I am loving this new game but it making my phone so hot I can only play for short periods of time
Still melts battery.
Bad optimization? I play games with way better graphics and don’t have problems.
I’m having the same issue, and so is everyone in my family. We are playing on fairly new phone Iphone 10’s I think and don’t have this issue with any other games.
The phones get incredibly hot and the game starts lagging really bad after just 20-30 minutes of play.
cool game but the heating issu yeah uninstall sorry… letme know when i can play more than 15 mins in a row. Marvel snap can run on my phone whole day with no issues
I’ve got the same issue but on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
It’s a recent thing for me thing, one of the latest patches makes my phone overheat quick and drains my battery hard.
lets start a conspiracy Blizzard makes most addictive mobile game that bricks your phone so you would have to buy new phones more frequently.
I have same problem here it makes me couldn’t play longer because my phone die so fast and phone gets overly heated
Official help pls
I’m using an IPhone 12 Pro Max here
I dont want to sound unpleasant but the Iphones are expensive and offer less for the price you pay. (they overheats, very fragile, expensive technical support and spare parts…)
I have a humble Samsung A30 (A 2019 Phone with Android) and no have any overheat or low battery issue.
However, my battery used to eat the power fast BUT is because the battery is very old (more than 5 years of use) and never have changed the battery. Im sure If I change my battery for a new one, I will get better performance.
Maybe you say: “ok but I prefer Iphone” It’s okay, it is respected.
The only thing I can share (apart from what Zuvykree shared) is that:
- Disable Bluetooth (this eat the battery fast)
- Lower screen brightness and volume will save you battery.
- Enable energy saving or low power mode (In case your phone has this feature)
- If your battery has 3 or more years of use ¡change it! A new battery will give you better performance and lower energy consumption.
But take note in case you have Iphone:
Low Power Mode reduces or affects these features:
- 5G (except for video streaming) on iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models1
- Auto-Lock (defaults to 30 seconds)
- Display brightness
- Display refresh rate (limited up to 60 Hz) on iPhone and iPad models with ProMotion display2
- Some visual effects
- iCloud Photos (temporarily paused)
- Automatic downloads
- Email fetch
- Background app refresh
When Low Power Mode is on, the battery in the status bar will be yellow. You’ll see a yellow battery icon and the battery percentage. After you charge your iPhone or iPad to 80% or higher, Low Power Mode automatically turns off.
Recent updates have impacted severely battery drains and overheat on iPhone. My iPhone 15 pro is melting after one raid…
Its not just a iPhone problem. My Samsung S22+ also eat battery and get hot with lagging.
This happens after roughly 45 minutes of gaming.
Yes, of course there are things Blizzard could do to fix it.
For one thing, they could limit the frame rate.
Playing on PC, I can clearly see that the game runs the GPU as hard and fast as it will go, rendering as many frames per second as it can. It renders at hundreds of FPS on my PC. Constantly. Even when idling at a menu screen. Obviously, this is incredibly wasteful of power, and the charge cycles needed to support it are needlessly destructive to any battery-powered system, like a phone.
Blizzard, isn’t this game built on the Unity engine? Unity supports FPS limits already. Won’t you please make use of that feature?
