We got scam ( Evidence )

lets not use team size as an excuse
blizzard arent an indie company
They are multi billion company
the money they made alone during wow’s peak could cover a more extensive remaster/remake of warcraft 3

Yes, it is, and yes, he does.

It’s one thing if you just buy a game on Day 1, without really looking into what you’re purchasing. At that point you may not be aware of the news surrounding the game. You just got an email that there was a new game and decided to buy it. Okay. Fine.

But if you’ve pre-ordered the game, like most folks here probably did, then you owe it to yourself to look into news surrounding the product you put money down for in advance. Don’t bother to do that? Then you risk getting burned, and that’s entirely your fault.

Get out while you still can!

Don’t let Blizzard take your money for this sham…

I am out of Blizzard. I will not buy their expansion for their WOW. Of course WOW took a down turn anyways. I guess I have to keep the not so Reforged Warcraft 3. I tried for an refund months ago, before it came out. I was instantly denied. Activision Blizzard is truly a scam artist.

So, you should treat it as you made a verbal deal with your local weasel type of drug dealer? Come on, man. You shouldn’t go out of your way to see if there’s a possible scam brewing behind some product, regardless of whether you preordered it or not.
And please don’t give me the “they said this and they said that” stuff. People preordered the game because they saw the demonstration of it. It should only get better than that with time. That’s an extremely normal assumption.

Now, I do agree that it’s “on him” in the sense that he wasn’t careful enough, but that’s a completely different context. We can talk about not preordering games, being gullible and whatnot, mocking a conned person etc. and that’s all fine. But that’s a different context. Let’s not simply erase the conman from the picture when making these assessments. We can criticize the conned guy for being gullible or whatever, but it’s not “on him” to not be gullible. That’s such a slippery slope that I can’t even believe what you’re writing, dude.

Except there is no ‘conman’ in this scenario.

A conman in this scenario (game development) would be like what happened with Aliens: Colonial Marines. The game was marketed one way, but delivered a completely different way, and there was no indiciation from any of the developers that something had changed. In fact, steps were taken to ensure that the press did not get copies of the game for review before street date.

In this case, the game was marketed one way and delivered a different way, but the developers stated that they were changing things. They stated that you were going to be getting a different product, that was scaled back to how WC3 played before, that the story of the game would not be changed.

Folks weren’t deceived, they were ignorant.

What happened to them would be akin to pre-ordering a collectors edition, getting a call from the retailer who tells you that they weren’t getting collectors edition copies and you’ll be getting a standard edition, ignoring said call then going to the store and demanding your collectors edition.

They had 2 years to flesh that crud out

The reviews and complain say otherwise. The way I see it, the ones that didn’t want a full remake was the loud minority. When the game came out, the silent majority poured on their reviews and regrets with the way the game was made.

You’re confusing the two.

The folks that are leaving reviews and complaining? They’re the minority. There are more people sitting in the Reforged lobby right now, than there are posting on this forum, and leaving reviews on Metacritic, and that’s not even taking into consideration those that are actually playing games, or folks that are in the editor creating maps.

Blizzard got clear feedback. Don’t touch the story, don’t go full ‘Culling of Stratholme’ on the game, make it as similar to ROC and TFT as possilble, while upgrading the graphics.

So you mean if I take a torch and a fork and going to shout and protest before the “Blizzard tower” than I do the right thing? I gues not. If i have a probleme I write to them but before a I check the things. If they give me an acceptable answer than we can make a deal. If not I can refound or call a lawyer. But crying about how to feel and companies are evil it’s just wortles. I dont’ have time to that i have better thing to do. Btw accordint to our ex PM who cheated and entire election and after get a tape out where he said: we lied at morning, at night and evening. What we told wasn’t true. etc. etc. After when the houndreds of tousends of angry ppl went to the streets he said: they will be bored, and they will go home. And exactly that hapend. So what we did technically was worthless we learnd the lession in the hard way with tear-gas, cavalry charge, gummibullets etc. And ofc we should have do some more useful things. 4 years later we voted again and sent that bastard away, but we lost tons of time. So I gues the right way is: if you don’t like what blizzard do, just stop supporting them, and be sceptic in the futere.

Where are the 4hours of reforged cutscenes?

This company knows what quality is. They just wanted to profit from their reputation. Which they did. Now they should be held accountable for the scam.

I just heard from a friend discord that blizz has suspended his forum account for expressing how he feels of Reforged. he forwarded the email to me they say

We welcome constructive feedback on the forums, but we ask that you avoid the kind of negativity displayed here. Any account that has been found by our Moderation Team to be posting in a manner inconsistent with this request is subject to have its posting privileges suspended if not outright revoked.

whats worst is they keep sending him a link to the “code of conduct” but that link is either broken or lord no what because it just gives an error and when he tells them this they wont address it.

yet i see a lot of “negativity” here of people being displease with blizz and reforged but they have not been banned, some are calling others names. Yet he is singled out and punished for expressing his displeasure like everyone else here. What has this world come to.

anyways he wanted me to put it out there so everyone knows that blizz does not like us be angry for a game that deserves our anger!

what sad is he considering deleting his battle.net account because he feels discriminated against. Yet he has been a blizzard fan since Warcraft Orcs and Human and Starcraft Brood War. his family and i used to play Warcraft 2 and Starcraft Brood War every Friday and we all hoped for the promised upgrade.

However he also sent me a link to a mod page. you only need to things if you want to play the mod

Get the Warcraft 3 PTR its the Classic Warcraft 3 with out any of the reforged stuff.
once you have that you will need to go into your registry do what the following
“Add a dword Allow Local Files , give it value of 1”
considering i got windows 10 and all i see is dword 32 or qword 64 i am assuming its dword32 but to make sure i am contact the mods Creator.

here is the mod just remove the spaces after copy and pasting into search bar

https:// www.moddb .com/ mods/ warcraft-iii-rebirth

i hope this helps anyone whos wanted a reforged game or still wants to play the classic version

An interview is an official announcement.

It does not get more official than BlizzCon. It’s the biggest event of the Blizzard year in which new announcements are made. The fact is you did not bother to pay attention.

That’s not an announcement. An announcement would’ve been a Blue Post on the Forums or a news entry.
Usually i don’t use that kind of language, but are you that deluded by that company that you can’t differ an interview from an announcement?
Please go back to school.

I said the same thing here

There’s no excuse, it was behind a paywall, it’s 100% on Blizzard. Customers shouldn’t have to pirate content to see what’s going on with their preorders.

i tried it and there a downside map editor ctd upon start up :frowning:

Thank you for sending out my message. it is true they did silence me for speaking the truth as i see it. that this game was DOA and that its only a matter of time before that new EULA and all the maps being made that are Racially inappropriate draw the attention of a lawsuit and a court room. Yet my silence is broken and if they want to Violate my Freedom of Speech like they did Blitzchung than i got my Lawyer on speed dial lmao.

the maps i am referring to are at the 6 minute mark if you have not seen this video

You do realize freedom of speech does not apply to these forums right…

You don’t have freedom of speech here.

Freedom of Speech, the concept of it anyway, only protects you from government intervention on public or government owned property. Meaning if you’re protesting in public, no government funded agency, be it the police, the FBI, CIA or NSA can do anything about it.

But on privately owned property, or on a privately owned platform, you have no such protections. The owner of that property or platform can silence you. This is Blizzard’s platform, therefor they dictate what you can and cannot say.
