ya tell that to gamers for freedom i sure they believe you, oh wait they wont so i wont either.

But i not talking just of freedom of speech. if you two would shut up and watch the video than you would see the type of racism being made in maps because of there EULA and they own it now. I know friends who already sent a copy of the eula and that video to there Lawyers, and are in the process of getting a lawsuit made on the grounds of Racism

Keep telling yourself you have the freedom of speech and artistic expression on a private business medium.

Secondly they have always owned your maps, because you are using there tools. That has always been that way it is the same EULA that has existed since 2003, The only thing Blizzard cant do is patent your Idea . There is nothing stooping you from taking your mod and making it’s own game not using there assets.

But hey keep telling yourself that , guess what ever gets you clicks and ad revenue.

I’m sure you all have that lawyer with there law degree from Google U on speed dial. Cause ya know Blizzard has a whole floor of legal counsel , and if what they released in the EULA violated any laws it would never have made it past there legal department.

We shouldn’t have to hunt to find changes. It should be prominently posted on the website.

Furthermore we shouldn’t have to pay to watch a convention to get updates.

The team that remastered aoe2 didn’t charge anyone a dime and did a much better job keeping everyone in the loop about changes.

Not a blue post, or news, just a random forum user. Isn’t pinned now, can you confirm it was pinned before release? It isn’t a random consumers job to trawl through the forums looking for news.

Not a Blizzard site. A map making site. Tell me why a random campaign player who was excited for a revamped campaign would go to this site?

Again not a Blizzard site. Plus it doesn’t even state in that article that cutscenes weren’t getting redone. It states that the cgi ones aren’t. Why would you even link that?

None of these address MavBytes argument that it should be a blue post on the forums or a news entry.

It is BLIZZARDS job to post when they’ve changed games people have preordered. It is not the consumers job to read posts by random forum users or go to other websites.

Thing is everyone was talking about it after Blizzcon, Typically Blizzard does not do recaps on Blizzcon , the info from there is addressed by attendances and news outlets. Also if you just google “Blizzard not changing Warcraft III” , there was a ton of backlash at them , also on there own forums that they did not want the campaign altered, or the new cut-scenes, I counted no less then 30 posts about it ( I quit after that).

You all want someone to blame, look to your right or left, or look in the mirror, they listened. At the time no one wanted it remade. But hey lets beat this dead horse some more.
