Yes, in the Bug Report forums is a topic on this issue.
This seems to be a different problem then… Can you please open a topic in the bug report forum and append a dxdiag file and/or any other information you have on the crash…
I am having the same issue too!

So shameful… its like Blizzard and EA fighting over who is going to threat their playerbase worse.

While you construct a building if the building is not in your render area - in camera bounds- game crashing. What i do to complete level is while constructing a building you should keep the building in your camera view -in your render area-.
Not a permanent solution but if you still want to play the campaigns. You can do this any level when the game crashed.

Do not load from a checkpoint and turn your spell effects to low.
I have the same issue. So many crashes. Ruining the experience. Hope a fix is in the works.
Shame on you Blizzard. What a poor work.
There was a time when you play all games from Blizzard and you know quality was a priority. Now only money is.
There was a time when profesisonals from game industry dreamed to work on Blizzard, now we are running from this company.
So after all the discussions, what would be the solution - in simple terms to correct this “problem”?

Still broken. I appreciate the mods combing this thread removing other people’s vulgar language from comments, but an update would go a lot further with the unfortunate souls who still support this horrible company after 2019

I’ve played this game for twenty years. Not a SINGLE complaint I made until Reforged. Not a SINGLE ONE.

I too am having this same issue. I got pretty far in the game and it crashed. I had to start from a autosave and now it continuously crashes. I had this on the previous chapter/race on stage 5 and had to cheat code to get past it. I am not sure why it crashes but it does. I am now trying to inch my way by continuously saving as often as possible but this is kind of lame for a game that I had to pay for.

Turn spell effects to low, and do not load from a mid-mission save. Both of those contribute to crashes.
Still no update about this, this company sucks man, I guess it is time for get my REFUND.

FFS FIX YOUR GOD DAM GAME YOU TRASH COMPANY!
Even their old games are riddled with bugs. Ive played this mission atleast 10 times now… only logical thing is start over in classic mode. Cant even switch, lol sheeeeesh what a company.
This is literally my last purchase ever until Microsoft takes over your utterly USELESS leaders. What trash.
Coming here late, but what fixed the issue for me was bumping down my resolution to 1080p. I was still hitting the crash even with all graphics settings on low, but after lowering the res I haven’t had a single issue.
Haven’t been able to play tonight due to crashing in campaign. Please fix this.
Quite annoying when you cannot play a great game @blizzard please look into and help out single player campaign.
My cpu is not old, will lowering graphics and effects has no help. Sentinel campaign seems to be corrupted…
Would like to finish this game again
