Just seems like Blizzard could be more transparent here. There are 360+ posts here (not to mention other discussion threads on the same topic) and Blizzard has chimed in so sporadically that it seems like the issue is being ignored. Would it be so difficult for Blizzard to post a daily update?
Yes they posted here and there on a post but they never formally addressed this current issue which is concerning.
Unfortunately, Blizzard is no longer about quality, I am disappointed. They have been neglecting us for a month now and are not fixing issues on Mac.
What I’m surprised with is the lack of response from blizzard. I mean, if Mac users have been unable to play for the past 45+ days, then this new version/patch comes out and it still doesn’t work for Mac, why not jump on the forums (especially a thread with a lot of traction) and just acknowledge the concern.
The apologists for blizzard seems to glaze over the fact they are still providing a paid for product with paying customers and seem to have lost sight of a simple concept: good customer service.
If you’re working on it, jump on and say so, if your plan is to give the middle finger to Mac, then jump on and say so. Why the silence? The “9-5” argument doesn’t make sense either. Writing a quick text is just that, quick.

I just bought this game a week ago only to discover it doesn’t even work. You should really DISABLE SALES on your site while the game isn’t working!!!

Also getting the 6:9 error. This is ridiculous customer service, about 45 days since I’ve been able to play the game. I’m incredibly disappointed in Blizzards response to this (or lack thereof) and even more disappointed in the apologists trying to defend blizzard. I’ve been playing since 2004 so I don’t care about a refund, I just want to play the game.
They are actively selling the game as mac compatible? It clearly is not compatible with Mac in its current state and has not been for 45 days now (but they’re happy to keep selling it to Mac users).
Maybe we can get Elon to make another purchase…
Hi I’m still getting the error of this post on Mac OS Sonoma, further more, the mouse cursor can’t go down from the middle of the screen so it is difficult to close

Same. I paid for this game and I cannot play. I am preparing a giant lawsuit. Gathering people here and on Reddit for a lawsuit that Microsoft will not find funny if the game does not work on Mac by end of next week. Got over 1200 people so far.

Hey serious question for whoever checks these, why doesn’t the team test for things like this before they rollout? Surely they have an up to date Mac testing environment they can try to run the client on? Many of us have now grown up into people who use Macs for work/social connectivity and want to have this game running so we can have little moments of nostalgia and fun and you guys took that away from a good number of us.
How does a game we pay for not work for six weeks and Blizzard and your team says absolutely nothing of substance to these very angry and very passionate fans? This studio used to be famous for making incredibly high quality games, games of such quality that people will return to it after decades and purchase re-skinned D2 LOD and Warcraft III copies that are content-wise identical and functionally inferior to the original games. Now the games won’t even run and we get the same “actively working on” language is that a joke?
Screw this company and screw this game. I’m over it
The sad part is it wasn’t just Mac users having issues with 2.0…
Even PC was getting an 6:10 error very similar to this one with Macs…
Very piss poorly handled by Blizzard so far…
