I bought the game 3 days ago, luckily i can refund this waste within 14 days.

You are making so much out of nothing lol

I’m not trying to prove anyone wrong about anything, I don’t know what you’re on about

why put off to tomorrow what you can do today?

I had hopes that it will be a fast fix, seems that it wont be. I already refunded it, because it is really a faulty non working game.

It’s only faulty and non working if you have a mac and who buys a mac to play games lol

Just use paralells or something until its fixed, therse no reason to go without

If a developer offers macOS support, then this OS support has to be maintained. It is not about “i HaVe A mAc As A gAmInG mAcHiNe”.

If someone owns a device with macOS and a software has macOS support, then this software should also maintain macOS support.

I know that it is pain for Developers to make a game run on macOS, too and it often does not pay out. But most Mac users went for Blizzard games because these were games that were supported. This was Blizzards credo back in the days: Making games available to a wide audience.

And games from that era should be available to a wide audience as well. Without having to install workarounds, parallels. If it is written on the box, it should work out of the box.

You seem to be missing the point, but i don’t blame you. And i don’t play games on mac i have got PS5 for that, but as for now this was my only option to play wc3.

What pain for developers are you talking about? Blizzard supports Macs since 2004 when WoW was released. Maybe even earlier. So they have absolutely all resources plus teams for that.

Again. There are plenty of reasons. Blizzard supports Macs since 2004, and if the platform is supported, and I paid for that game, I should be able to play it.
And your knowledge regarding Mac is not for playing games is obsolete, of course if you have a base model of Air, then maybe, otherwise it is good.

I don’t think anyone buys a Mac to play games. I personally have a Mac because I need it for work, as it is industry standard in my field. The only game I play is warcraft 3, which has been running (more or less) flawlessly on Mac since its release. I don’t want to buy a PC, just to play one game, and I don’t want to install an emulator that slows my machine and make the game lag and crash (as Mac users who went for this option report).

I just want the game to run as advertised … or have an official statement that Mac is no longer supported and that all Mac users will receive a refund.

I rest my case. This issue doesn’t even relate to him but he feels the need to keep responding to everyone. What a sad life he has

The continued lack of a fix for this issue is not only embarrassing but also deeply disrespectful to the loyal player base. What’s even more frustrating is the complete silence—no updates, no communication, not even an ETA on when we can expect this to be addressed.

As a long-time customer, I feel genuinely let down. This level of disregard for your community is unacceptable. We deserve transparency and a commitment to resolving the issues that affect our gameplay experience.

This proves that everything said during the 30th Anniversary event was nothing more than commercial fluff. It’s incredibly frustrating to see promises made, excitement built up, and yet core issues remain ignored.

Please take this feedback seriously and provide us with the respect we’ve earned as dedicated players over decades of wc3.

jeah, this guy is relentless

I just bought the game some days ago to play on my Mac m1 i havent played a single minute of this game, this is sad.
Thinking about getting a refund, because it seems i’ll never get to play the game.

This feels like Blizzard basically has one engineer working on this and it isn’t their full time job, so they have to slice effort in between their higher priority tasks…

Same here. I bought the whole pack, being excited to play - not only did it not start on my Windows laptop (even though the requirements are supposedly met), but I can’t play it on my Mac either. Getting a refund - this is ridiculous.

The same crap is on Mac M2 Sequoia 15.1!!! I bought a license after 2.0 came out in anticipation of playing the game of my childhood! How long should we wait for Blizzard to fix the bug?

it looks like that’s the case

Same error here as well. I opened a support ticket, and did all that was recommended, no improvement. All the other blizzard games work, just not W3 with the new update.

I am having the same error. Curious, is there any Mac user out there that has reported the game actually works on their Mac since version 2.0 came out?
