The Gender Outrage

You complain about dk change. Yes I know this feeling which is the reason why I play only male heroes on Heroes of The Storm. When they decided to make Yrel it break my heart. I always wanted to play Vindicator Maraad in heroes of the storm not Yrel…

Most people doesn’t understand it. Since i’m a man I like playing only males. Playing a girl hero for me like wearing female cloths… I don’t want to carry or play anything that represent women. I don’t need them. I’m a Monk just like Kharazim (https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Kharazim) and its not racism its just different perspective.

Thank god I don’t play ladder games. In custom games I can play heroes that are 100% males then I can enjoy the game, but for those who want to play male i’m with you fellas.

Important Death Knight features:

White hair, giant undead horse, runeblade, grey skin, grey/black armour, black cloth off the back.

Guess what both have.

You’re missing out on some strong characters like Sonya, Auriel, Maiev, Qhira, Jaina, Lunara, Orphea, Sgt. Hammer, and Johanna.

Yes I do and not so smart idea making female heroes superb op. I reached diamond league with Kael’Thas, Lucio, Muradin, Tychus, Varian, Arthas, Thrall, Gul’Dan those are my main heroes. The struggle is real but its my way to enjoy the game on my terms.

Wanted to play Male Barbarian, Crusader on Heroes but they choice to make them women…

Stop this DK male/female stuff, rage about the 2.51 failed login!!

There are like three on that list I would argue about maybe being notably strong, but not OP.

I’m pretty sure they are just testing assets.

The male versions of DH and DK will probably be the Illidan and Arthas models. And the female version of the Archmage will probably be Jaina in a horse.

There’s a tab on the menus that says “Collection.” If it works anything like SC2, you’ll be able to choose the model there.

Is that seriously a common feeling among gamers, at least on these forums? That makes no sense whatsoever to me as a male gamer. Half of my WoW characters were female and the same is true in Diablo III, and I felt they represented me adequately, yet I would never entertain the idea of wearing female clothes either.

Now that’s where the argument becomes plain disturbing, but I’m simply not willing to engage in that discussion…

I don’t feel you understand the seriousness of this situation.

Just the other I was playing OW Mercy…had a few drinks…and the rest is just blank. Woke up 12 hours later wearing lipstick & pink panties.

Write your congressmen at once! This terror must be eradicated!

We know humans don’t follow this because even in wc2 they had female archers. Not so for the orcs.

Well, she doesn’t have the original voice lines either. Or the black eyes. Not to mention she looks incredibly silly for dual wielding whilst mounted. Not buying the whole “plate bikini top” look either. She just looks and sounds silly to me.

I mean, if she’s just a toggle-able option, I really wouldn’t care less-- but I don’t want her to appear randomly, let alone be the only option which seems to be the case right now.

Paladin form both warcraft 2 and 3 are referred to as Holy Knights. There were no female knights in England which is the background the humans are based off of mainly because a knight was a slave to a landowner or king fighting to own land when back in that time a woman could not own land without a man so no there were no female paladins as there were no female knights

Although we agree that a lot of the Warcraft aesthetics are derived from real medieval times, we can’t let that limit ourselves in terms of what is allowed or not. There is nothing contradictory or limiting in letting there be female knights, paladins (looking forward to the model for that one!) and death knights.

I am hoping for it. From the looks of it each hero might have at least 8 different models. But I’m hoping more for heroes could have a female counterpart like pally, dk, dm, fs and such. But some I don’t think can like pit or fire lord.

tf are you talking about? There is so much wrong here I don’t even know where to begin.

Okay first off, this isn’t a medieval game, it’s a fantasy game. Huge difference there. Humans were based off England? Not sure where you’re getting that from but okay Sherlock since we’re going with that - maybe my history is a bit off but I don’t recall there being Blizzard summoning, teleporting, Elemental Summoning Wizards in England during that time either. But hey I guess that’s more believable than female knights right.

Also I love how you’re using the England arguments yet mention Paladins - the only real-world Paladins were Knights of Charlemagne’s court. And no, not even in England were Knights slaves to landowners, I don’t even have a clue where you got one.

I’m actually impressed you managed to fit that much stupid into such a short post. Honestly, take a bow. You really raised the bar there.

This is fake outrage.

From when I played Undead in the beta, it seemed like all the select/move/attack quotes were the same. Just the ‘pissed’ ones of clicking her multiple times were changed.

Agreed on both those. If she at least had a slightly more unique cast animation of swinging the axe for her spells, I could be like “oh nice”.

What about Azeroth?

Yes it’s understandable that it won’t be possible with every hero - it’s also obvious there won’t be a female Keeper of the Grove, for example.

Yes we can’t but the whole thing is bad. Allow us to choice and everyone is happy not some random chance. That’s what people that doesn’t like playing females want.

With options to choice the problem will be fixed. Just because you like playing females doesn’t mean all share your likes or opinions and what we want is a option to pick what we want to play.

Actually those were elves in WC2 and I think they were male, but it’s hard to tell with elves.
I understand the confusion, it’s easy to mistake an elven man for a human woman if they don’t grow facial hair.
Were it not for night elf druids, I would never have guessed male elves even existed. :stuck_out_tongue:

She doesn’t have a runeblade at all. She looks more like a northern barbarian with her normal sword and giant axe. A pale fury warrior who is too stupid to know how to ride a horse, since she doesn’t have a hand on her reins.
