What do you mean it broke classic campaign? It works fine for me. And so does the custom maps, while some need some adjustments. When I said I don’t need to defend is because they can do it themselves. I like reforge, hell I’m only playing on classic graphics.

I guess I’ll just have to delete it and reinstall all of it again to see if that helps. Literally have to chain launch it and hope it doesn’t crash or autodefeat me atm.

How blindly can somebody follow a Blizzard religion and defend this product?
The Malaysian company they outsourced the graphics overhaul to did an acceptable job.
But Blizzard itself did not. The biggest problem about everything is that the old Warcraft 3 is lost and people are legitimately angry about it. Keep in mind that this was never announced. They never said “your old warcraft 3 will be gone”. Many warcraft 3 players did not want reforged. They were happy with the game as it was.
In addition big mapping and modding communities like Hive already announced that they will boycott the new terms and services regarding ownership and censorship of the fan made content.
Their members are not children at all but artists and content creators. I met only well behaved and respected people from the Warcraft 3 community there over the past 15 years.
I don’t like the review bombing or the over exaggeration but I also don’t like your blindness and absolute theocratic attitude towards Blizzard in this matter.
They did in the end take the old warcraft 3 away from the players who didn’t want reforged and hurt an active modding community which kept their game alive and exciting for so many years. People who never got paid but did these things because they loved the game.

There isn’t even the campaign I need in there. The campaign I need - the campaign they advertised and advertise to this very day - the one with improved cutscenes - is not there. And I can’t play custom campaigns either in this new version.

They advertise it on their official site, the only place to buy the Reforged disaster, in multiple languages, including both English and Russian. They, to put it frankly, are lying through their teeth this very moment and you claim you’re the one with the heart and brains, defending such a travesty? Uh-huh. No WOW retcons. Yeah, I heard of it. It’s not the same thing as what I was talking about though. I was talking about overhauled cutscenes. Which don’t require any retconning whatsoever. And which they are still blatantly lying about on their site.
I actually didn’t buy the Reforged version. I considered it, but decided to wait until launch. The vastly inferior Reforged client was forced on me with an update I never asked for.
